Well we tried once, then we tried again, then we quit for a few years, and tried again...and finally tried today. Now we have a fairly functional image board running! You can now create a user account there (or upload as anon). It has the ability for you to favorite images and is basically danbooru minus the gay. 2dComplex IMAGE BOARD As far as I've seen and tested, it's pretty quick, and has a nice smooth operating interface. There are still bugs (this code is brand spanking new so the developer is still working things out), but for now, feel free to play with it and have fun! Posted Image Also, please feel free to report anything that isn't working and provide a copy of the error code it gives you. Known busted shit: - "Saving" changes if you use the edit option on an uploaded image - Deleting/positioning translation boxes - - Tags tab "normal, series, etc." does not show correct search results - "Groups" tab not functional/erratic operation - Alias and Implications under the "Tags" tab produces an error - - Can't go past page 1 on Tag List tab without manually adding /naranai/ to the URL - Help link on main navigation bar inoperative - Can't delete tags or groups Edited by KhalReblic23, May 17 2009, 12:10 AM.

To add tags to an already uploaded image just put them and then spacebar or enter, don't use the submit button. |

I've noticed Khal tagged a lot of characters with just first names - probably not a good idea. When tagging images please put the full name, if you can't remember it - google it. "Lucky Star" first result is usually for anything the wiki page or the ANN page, both which have full names. Some characters only have a first name, that's fine, and sometimes their names wont be listed or full on these sites, that's also fine. But really, at least look and try to do the full name first. And as for what order, I'd go with surname first. --- The thing we're using for this is in beta, or 'alpha' as the guy who is making it calls it. :osa3: So lots of bugs, plus khal and I don't know much about this stuff so some of it's our fault too. :kaori: Edited by KhalReblic23, May 17 2009, 12:11 AM.

And you guys, stop leaving the 'tagme' tag if you know the major things. If there are characters or series or something very relevant you don't know then sure. But if its like "i dont know what to call this clothing" or something don't leave it as 'tagme'. The 'tagme' tag is for things without the important tags, not the normal generic tags. It's annoying when I go to the tagme tag and its just going through pictures of Kino that have just kino and clannad girls that are already tagged anyway that are all 'tagme' like you didn't already fucking tag it. I'm fixing most of them (why i went to tagme - to tag things and to remove tagme's that dont belong) but try to be more careful about using it in the future. tl;dr - Less important tags can be added by anyone whenever, tagme is just for missing important ones. Something happened to the tags, i went to edit them in the list and theres over 9000 bullshit "flkjsdkj3535.com" tags. I don't know how to edit the list so khal fix it. |

Yes apparently there was a spambot visit that decided to add a bunch of tags. I've been deleting them a little bit at a time, but it seems it will take some initiative on my part to learn how to modify the code to prevent anon tagging. |
