Well, I was told that it takes three sources to get a costume approved. Well, this may help with anyone else who wants to try for this. 1) The story A Two-Edged Sword which was featured in Star Wars Insider 85 by Karen Traviss. It features cloned Force-Sensitive Stormtroopers wielding lightsabers.  2) The concept picture for the Stormtroopers as drawn by McQuarrie for A New Hope.  3) The McQuarrie Concept Stormtrooper action figure which I recently found in my local Fred Meyers as a re-release of the Fan's Choice collection.
