First would be a full set of glossy (not matte) black Stormtrooper armor. Shiny .090 ABS is what I've seen produced (and currently own).

Neck seal: You can find these on eBay or the Legion forums. I think TK409 still offers them at a decent price on his site at TK409.com. Mine is from Jeff in Australia.

Bodysuits: UnderArmor is your friend. You can also use a dancer's black unitard or there are custom bodysuits on eBay.

Gloves: Black Jerseys from Wal-Mart work well, although I personally prefer leather. Nomex flight gloves (black) are accepted. The "real" troopers from the movies wore black rubber gloves - trust me, you'll sweat ounces of water if you dare wear rubber gloves.

Boots:

$57 (Posted by TheLoneKnight): http://www.brokenspokewesternwear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7517

These are the most accurate, but very pricey:

Timberland Torrence Chelsea Boot ($115) Accurate, but needs a good polish:

Also try Froogle for pricing (but the boots must be black):

Holster and blaster (E-11 or BFG)
- Replica weapons can be bought off eBay or I use the RPF. I personally hate the Kenner/Hasbro blasters, but if properly weathered and resin parts kit are added, they can look ok.

Pauldrons are strictly OPTIONAL (they simply show rank and I won't get into the whole 501st Sandy debate here) and not endorsed for wear by the Legion. I wear an orange one on occaision, but only when I carry my BFG. If you don't carry a BFG and have ammo pouches, you probably shouldn't wear a pauldron.

We can tighten the specs as we get more members and debate topics, but I think this is a good starting point.

The point of the Spec Ops Detachment is to be the best of the best, and thus, should hold ourselves to a higher standard when in public.
