Well. I havent personally ever used sintra, but Ive seen other people use, it and its similar to plastics, if I remember correctly. It really depends what exactly you want to do with the sintra. Its been best used with fett armor, jetpacks, etc. As far as making it curved or flexibility properties, I cannot say. Im sure that applied heat can help with this.
