Tusken Pirate Posts: 145 Group: Members Member #86 Joined: March 28, 2006	I tried to rough mine up with sand paper a little then primered it in dark gray then painted it in black. I'm sure over time the paint will wear off but then I will just repaint it. As far as flexing, the hose is pretty sturdy and doesn't move around at all. It will wear off from getting bumped around before anything else. I almost left it in original color because it was black with blue raised ribs. And I think the 3/4" size is a little too small. BTW, The caps I got from KS were way too big so I got some caps from my local hardware store and sanded and painted them too.
