Part of it is the hassle of continuing domestic demands as I work on getting my life back on track. And part of it is, truthfully, because I hadn't been feeling particularly enthusiastic about coming back to this board since my disagreements with one of the members. I haven't wanted to expose myself to further acrimony. But since he's over on my "home" board (Royal Guards) doing the same thing whenever he can, I figured what the heck... I've been negotiating for use of Jango, Biker Scout, and Vader parts from other makers that I could use as a basis for modding into the similar parts on this. (It's easy to get permission, give credit, and work out conditions/costs. For the life of me, I can't grasp why recasters don't do this.) I've been working on foam sculpts of the breastplate, codplate, bicep, and forearm. The handplate and sabaton were simple and easy. I'm doing all right-side stuff. I have a rapid-prototyping setup nearby owned by an old family friend, and should be able to scan, mirror, and recreate the pieces in stereo. heh Pictures soon. My working areas haven't been very photogenic since midsummer. I'll also post my patterns for the pouch and cummerbund. Sidenote: The same bodysuit, gloves, and neckseal you use for your TK or TX is used for this costume. The boots are TK boots, but in black. For sidearms, I'm using a mostly ROTJ E-11 on the right and a Merr-Sonn Model 44 on the left. Personal sidenote: I can't wait to troop in this next to Jen in her Shadow Scout (I still use that term to distinguish between the two versions). I've been having fun upgrading her Scout costume a piece at a time, and when she gets her new armour, her existing harc pieces are getting painted black.
