I'm here now and thank you for the kind words on my costume! I figured that since we are beginning to see some of the Force Unleashed characters start the approval process, I'd like to help write the CRL for the EVO Trooper. Before I do anything I know of three things that is missing with my rig: 1. the ball under the chin is missing a groove 2. I am missing a stripe on my left arm 3. I need another little canister greeblie for the bits on my right shin armor. Also, before I would try and submit this for approval, I need to completely replace the legs. I love the weathering, but the big issue is that these just don't fit me. In response to the questions posed above, however, I would say the following: - Completely forget about the way any action figures look - they are so inconsistent with the renders from LFL it's amazing that they were approved to begin with. - I built that chestbox from scratch since it didn't match a TIE Piolts or an AT-AT- Pilot's. - The TK Body Armor will work, it just needs modifications. The shin armor basically needs the Knee plates. The ankle details from the figure shouldn't be added. - A standard helmet can be modified, but requires a LOT of work - I'm toying with the idea of cleaning mine up and casting it - depending on how much work is involved. Honestly, I'm not 100% happy with it, but it definitely serves its purpose. - A standard TD Backpack should work fine -especially since seeing that in-game shot from above- which is kind of a let down for me since I had a friend of mine build a custom pack based off of an unskinned LA render. Does anyone make TK armor that's bigger than the FX kits? The legs that I have are just too small for me in general. -Kyle |
