My wife was heading up a book fair at the local elementary school, so I used the opportunity to have the 501st there to raise some money for our ill friends at Phoenix Children's hospital. As you can imagine, there was a huge turn out as we did some creative advertising outside of the school as the children were being let out to go home. Waiting for the bell to ring . . . only to be mobbed by all the kids!  Gonks like pictures . . . The Jawa didn't know what to do - he just stood there and didn't move!  Many of the kids thought I was a robot (LOL)  We left the Gonks overnight in the library and the front office. They loved them!  Kids even dressed up for the event. Can you spot the bobble head?  Leia shrank! We were very pleased to have the R/C Clone Wars R2 and the R/C Orange Droid along with the 3 static Gonks at the event.  After the even, the Gonk was sick so we sent him to the nurses . . . . (looks like Nemo was sick too)  Me & My New Friends  That's my wrangler wife in the DSG shirt. Check out where the gloves blend in with the black shirt!
