This costume sounds like it could be the next generation of the New Republic's NRSF's (New Republic Security Force). If anyone has any old West End Games Star Wars Role-Playing Game books on hand, there is an illistration in one of them. I have it at home, but the title escapes me. I think it may be the Mos Eiseley Starport... or something along those lines. I don't have a scanner, but I will look up the book title and page if anyone is interested. - Ok, I went home and went through my book. It wasn't anything related to Mos Eiseley at all. The book was West End Games Star Wars "The New Republic" Galaxy Guide 11: Criminal Organizations. There is an illustration if the NRSF on page 93. I should also note that before the New Republic took over, the Empire had what was called "Sector Rangers". And of those Sector Rangers there were special elite officers called "Special Enforcement Officers" that pretty much took on the roll of intergalactic police. Both Sector Rangers and NRSF's were their respective side's answer to maintaining law and order without having to use the regular military. Information pertaining to the Sector Rangers and the Special Enforcement Officers can be found in the same book on pages 90-93. There is an illustration or two of these guys as well. So, if anyone has this book they can see the references. If not, I may be able to get scans of them and email them out, should anyone be interested. Just let me know via PM or private email. - Bill mgunner75@yahoo.com So, perhaps the Galactic Alliance Guard is a descendant of thse to groups??? |
