Recruit, Welcome to the 501st Special Operations Detachment. This forum is for use by 501st Imperial personnel only, and encompasses the special operations (TX) side of the Empire's greatest troopers. We currently have 13 costuming categories, which puts us on par only with the Clonetrooper Det as far as the Det with the most costumes. For the uninitiated, the 501st Legion is a world-wide Imperial Star Wars costuming group that performs volunteer work on behalf of children's charities. You can discover more about the 501st by visiting the official 501st Legion Website. All new recruits will be verified by the board moderators and must provide their 501st ID in their request for membership to be accepted. You must be at least 18 or older per Legion rules. You do NOT have to have a Spec Ops costume to be a member of the forums, but you should be working on one. Incomplete costumes don't count towards our official Detachment status, but how else do you grow if you don't encourage more people to finish theirs?  There is a wealth of knowledge to be gleaned from your Spec Ops counterparts, so don't be afraid to ask.Treat each other with respect and if you disagree with someone or something, debate it cordially without resorting to anger. Threads of a derrogatory or threatening nature will be removed and the poster subject to banning and/or legion administrative action. The "For Sale/Trade" thread is for private sales between members of items within their personal collections. It is NOT a place to request or sell bulk sales of armor, and discussions containing armor creator's names will be removed for their protection. Most of all, have fun.
