Just a small update... The artwork has gone to Chuck Flynn and should come back cleaned up in about a week. Skaught (LMO) has also approved it (when we go official), so we are almost a go to get these done by the end of the month.

I know we couldn't make everyone happy, but I think it's a pretty good compromise.

We'll see if we can allow each costume category to approve their own patch later, but we had to make a decision now.

I'm thinking the middle one should be reserved for true TX's only. In reality, a Spec Ops trooper wouldn't sport something that bright unless they wanted to make a great target. ;)

So the color one is for any 501st member who wants one, but the monochromatic one is strictly reserved for Det members with a valid TX costume.

In any case, I think I can get the price down on these to under $2 as I personally detest people who profit off of our hobby by ripping us off with $7 patches when they cost about $1.69 to make.

The grayscale one is simply fantastic. I like the color one, I tend to agree also that a spec ops soldier would not want bright color but the 501st patch on my pauldron is also quite colorful. If I assume the pauldron is "dress" uniform then the colorized one would be fine too.

Either way I'm totally on board.

Yup. Color is intended for dress, Subdued for active - daily. Either way is fine, I just wanted to ensure we kept something special just for our troops vs everyone has one. ;)

Sorry I haven't been on the board for a bit. All I have to say about the patches TOTALLY AWSOME. I agree that the subdued one should only go out to the TX members. (but I'll be getting some of each..lol). Anyway Outstanding job on the patches. ;)

Sorry, still waiting for the Legion Council to make a decision on us.

I will pester them again today.
