I guess that means that I am not leading the Scouts anymore.
So Atin, let me know what I can do to help you out. :D

Bry, you're very needed and I consider both you and Atin a co-moderator team. I'm not asking you to step down at all, as it's a costume I know very little about, you guys bring a lot of skill and experience to it that is much needed by the Det.

If you can work together to fill in the ranks, it will do us nothing but good. So please don't feel like you're being pushed to the side. You're not. We need you both.

We started with three co-COs, and that has not changed. There is room for you, Bry, and that makes you the fourth. I consider all costume leads to be fully functional leads in their own areas.

We're still panning out the organizational chart, and it will evolve as we agree and vote on positions.

All I ask is that you give us time to work out the positions and get the Det in order and off to a good start.

Bry,
Kev got an answer in before me. I did not realize that you where already working on the sniper scouts area of the det.
It would be stupidity on my part to step in and mess that up. So hows about if I work with you on it, but you are still the person in charge of that area.
You have put all the time and energy these past months and I have been AWOL :D
If you want to please PM me and let me know where I can help you out.
Sorry for steppping on you like that, it was entirely unment to happen, and it was my jumping the gun.

I did not take it as an offense. I completely understood that Atin was part of this long before me. Hence why I had no problem stepping aside so he could lead.

So I would be happy to work with you, Atin, to get things moving. I will be pming you shortly.

Thank you both for letting me help out. :D

The final Det command structure is as follows: (L) stands for acting lead

Co-COs - Kevin Christley (L) - Mountain Garrison, Atin Miller - Southern Outpost, Jason Allen (Deployed)

XO - Mike Burnett - 70th Explorers Garrison

PRO - Erik Ross - Mountain Garrison

Stealth Trooper Lead - Bill England - SoCal Garrison

Storm Commando Lead - Bry White (L) - Old Line Garrison & Atin Miller - Southern Outpost

Lead Artist - Chuck Flynn

There are several vacant costume lead positions, so if any member wishes to nominate themselves, PM me.

These positions stand for a period of one year.

Just spoke with Dean (Legion webmaster) and he's agreed that we can have our own Public Relations Officer (since we're as big as some Garrisons out there), so as of this time, Erik Ross is our new PRO! Congrats, Erik (first Det PRO I think that's been accepted at the Legion level!)

Feel free to submit your event reports, sightings, etc. to him and we'll start cracking on a PR/Recruiting package for the Det!

And I'd like to welcome Sage as our resident web master. He's got some fantastic designs forthcoming, so bear with us as we get our new portal up and polished! You can check it out the test site @ http://501stSpecOps.com I won't make this site public to the Legion until he's given it his magic touch.

I still need to get him full admin access, so gimme a holler, bud!

I think we have a heckuva leadership team here, and it's my hope that this will be a Det you can all be proud of belonging to! I know I'm happy to have such a great bunch of folks to call family.

Congrat Erik!

Congrats Sage!

I echo Kevin's sentiments. I am amazed at how this detachment has grown in a short time. I am proud to be a member and will do my best to serve all other members here.

You're not just a member, Bry... You're a costume lead! Congrats to you as well. It's a pleasure to have officers such as you who care enough to tutor others on how to be the best that you can be! ;)

As the Dark Legion grows.............

Congrats Erik and Sage. To semi-quote Bry, It is amazing how large this det has become. It is great to see other Spec Ops out there trooping and recruiting. Where there was usually only one of us at an event, we now have a noticed presence...along with the cool armor. :D Keep up the good work troops.

Thanks Kev!
Thanks guys!

im going to get crackin on some recruitment flyers and perhaps revamp my 501st business card also.. if anyone is wanting to spread the word thats a good way! Ill post the jpg when i get it redone..

Also if theres anything we need done, let me know.. im willing to pull in people to help out as well.

Kev is there a place we can post materials that we have (in the way of graphics and flyers and such) to keep them all in one area? That way if anyone needs to make copies or something, they can just pull them off there.

just a thought! let me know what you think.
