Black Scout (also known as Shadow Scout) is a Black TB, no other differences. PPL use to call is "Storm Commando" but the real SC is a little different.  At this very moment there are not enough references to create a full CRL on this particular SC. So far, the Shadow (Black) Scout is the one approved. |

Hi Guys! I'm about to finish my storm comando but my question is about the boots. Do they need to be just like the regular biker scout boots? Because I'm using a biker (the type that Darth Maul uses but not the same though). Can I submit my application to the detachment with those boots? Thanks and regards. |

Hola, Chef here from the UK Garrison. Just a quick question and this is going to sound pretty daft. I'm getting some static from my EU Costume Liason with regards to Source Material for clearing a Storm Commando (I know of at least one other UKG Member thats got one in the pipeline too). What three reference pics are you guys using to submit to your GML's for clearance? I've got pretty much all of the pics available, just wondered what three individual references you are using. Also, is there any special link I can point him in the direction of, so he can look at it and say.... "oh yeah... that's 501st Approved!" without all this rigmarole? Cheers guys, Rob. |

It's OK Mark, I've got loads of pics. I was just wondering if there was some 501st page or similar that I could point our EU GML in the direction of. Still being relatively new to all this, I'm still at a loss as to what is actually 501st 'Approved' and what isn't. I've got about 5 or 6 different Comic reference pics, covering both standard and elite type SC's. I've also got some screen grabs from SWG and some other game and a reference from Starwars.com about the new SC toy. So hopefully that should cover all the bases. I've posted the links and stuff on the thread in the EU section of the UKG forum. |

Righty.... we're getting somewhere. I've had the OK on the references from the comics and the licensed Toy, but I've had a query over the references from the Computer games that I've submitted. I've got one from StarWars Galaxies, and another from another game (although I'm unsure which). These are the screen grabs.   What I need to know (from the GML) is..... Are these Lucas Film Licensed additions to the game, or are they fan created mods? If I can get confirmation they are pukka LA content then I'm in with my three references and I can get this cleared. A mission worthy of any Storm Commando! |

Rob the 3 i had sent to Dave previous were given the ok but it would seem a bit up in the air at the moment. However there appear to be quite a few already cleared at least as Shadow Scouts in the Legion and its on the CRL list so i don't know why we have to provide the refs if it is already an approved Legion costume? Although i think the 3rd was from galaxies and he was a bit iffy on it. Although i was given the go ahead for the basic black scout only the 'elite' version was a no go.

This is my whole issue..... surely if it's cleared already, then why all the hassle? But in the mean time..... they give me hoops, I jump through them. |
