hey all. my stealth TD is complete. i wore it officially at colorado state fair in August.. been a work in progress for a while now. pics are available on my yahoo site.. http://photos.yahoo.com/razorcityphilly i used plue accents instead of the normal grey on the helmet.. the grey looked to light to me for my taste. the pack is a modified TD pack .. made to be more of a sat/com type of pack. enjoy! |

I agree! When you first talked about it on the Garrison boards, I thought it might look strange. But honestly, after seeing it up close in-person, it looks awesome. A perfect TX/Sandie! And if you really want to see how great he pulled it off, here's a very cool pic I took of him at our State Fair troop this year: http://www.mg501.com/gallery/displayimage....lbum=199&pos=10 |

That looks slick! I like both the red and blue, though I would do one in green. Heck, how about doing one of every color? |

i had thought about red as well, but decided well before E3 that the grey of the original helmet was too bright and right out, and red had been done in various other costumes, so i went with our Garrison Colors, and modified the hue a bit to match the darker tone of the armor and it all but disappears at night.. which is too cool. gives it another dimension. im almost done with the move now to another house.. and i will continue with the modifications... even tho i like it as is. im messing with a blue pauldron to match.. but i dont want to steer too far away from the set functions, so im working on alternatives. |

yeah good point. Bright colors aren't the best thing. I like that you went with Garrison colors. That is a cool idea. |

hey nice pack! sorry i just saw this for some reason... been busy for a while and forgot about this thread. My pack has some white on it since it doubles as my TD pack as well, but then again, i havent quite got the pack to the point i want it to be either. I would like to be able to switch out the white for black when i troop the other suit. |
