Thanks for the vote of inspiration. I would like to try and keep this in the skunkworkz dept.. kinda a Imperial top secret project. but I plan on letting you guys see the development of the project, I like to call.. Project Walking Man hehehe My first step is of course the plans.. pics and something to go by. Can't really build the suit without them. I'll be starting my own thread here in this forum once I get the plans going. Any advice or input is greatly appreciated. With money as tight as it is right now, I could possible look at a projected deployment at Dragoncon 2009. As for now, any info on possible sources of info would be greatly appreciated. That's all for now.. |

There have been people working on the tanks to fit a regular TK as in the film, but to date, no clear reference photo exists of the tank system. I've kept this thread up here in the hopes that some day, a pic is found in the LFL archives so this costume can be made and Legion approved. And I'd steer clear of Star Fortress as a supplier.... Finally Hasbro has released an official "Spacetrooper" figure, so we now know what the tank looks like: http://www.potf2.com/potj/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13461&whichpage=2 Look about 3/4 the way down that thread. I'll be working a prototype tank to see if we can finally get this costume off the ground! Kev |

FISD takes only White Clean Tks, all EU troopers MUST be part of our detachment. |

I have to talk with them and work something out. Technically it's a TX (Special Operations TK) but then again, so would be a Sandtrooper (which already has a long-standing Det, the MEPD). If the Legion was started anew, we'd all probably be in the FISD. ![]() It's always been part of our Det since day one, despite the fact it IS shown in ANH (as the Falcon enters the docking bay of the Death Star. Problem was, there was only that and one publicity photo of the costume, neither of which showed the backpack (oxygen tanks). But hopefully someone will make this costume now that the action figure is out. Perhaps it will be a TX, if one of our members makes it. Kev Edited by COS_Vader, Oct 21 2008, 11:24 PM.

This figure is way too different from the 2 other references (including previous spacetrooper figure by Hasbro) From comic ![]() The new one is just a plain TK with a jetpack |
