hey guys, has anyone had to shim their stealth armor using more than just the extra belt pieces? i'm worried i'm not going to have enough black abs to shim both calves and both forearms.

has anyone found any material that resembles black abs? or any suggestions on what to do?

The reverse (shiny) side of black haircell resembles black ABS pretty well and should be easier to find. If you have trouble locating some, I can see if I can bring you some at StarFest.

We usually get it from commercial sign shops in town. But I think I might be able to give you some scrap that the Rocky Mountain Fan Force had left over from vaccing the Tuskin heads.

I REALLY need to make my own table... :(

I'll make a deal with you Kev... if you have the time. I'll be leaving Kosovo on the 26th of May, that means I should be home around the 28th... If you help me with my clone armor I'll help you build your vac table :D

We can sooooo knock out your clone armor and do a cool suspension system for you. I did find the helmet instructions, but they're 7 pages long.

I'll have to scan them and make a PDF (and buy a scanner). :(

it's okay... I figured it out. I just need to get some bondo(really hard here in Kosovo) and get some decent paint(again really hard in Kosovo)

Cyndi if you need any help around then I'll drop on down to NM and lend a hand.

hey guys-- he he he as some of you saw i didn't get the stealth done by starfest-- but now i am aiming for ren fest-- ;)

i ended up shimming with vinyl vertical blinds, i know that sounds strange but-- at home depot people get them custom cut and they just leave the bits folks don't want for the trash-- i scored some big pieces-- they are about 4inches wide or so, and then i sprayed them with fusion shiny black paint-- and they look pretty good :)

i'm sure the paint will chip off eventually so i need to work on that-- but otherwise it looks good

i've done all the armor except the helmet had some issues with missing helmet liner clips--but hopefully can work that out this weekend and finish up.

i will post pics as soon as i have them!!! thanks for all the help guys :)
