Looking at the pictures, it looks like the soft parts are pretty much identicle to the TB outfit - just all in black. the only real area of questionability is the 'nappy'. The Storm Commando obviously has the cummerbund and pouches, but the pod strap seems to be replaced by the groin armour. Now, would you guys make the TB Cummerbund / nappy (in black) then add the armour on top, or just forget about the pod strap entirely? also. What material should the cummerbund and pouches be made from? What material should the flak vest be made from? |

One of the best ways to get the cumberbund is by going onto Bikerscout.net. They have people there who can make them. I believe they also have someone who can make the flak vest. As far as what material it is made out of, I think it is a type of cotton. |

Yeah I may just get my flak vest from those guys, but the cummerbund they do is white, and we need ours to be black. I could dye it, but either I'm crpa at dyeing, or black dye always comes out a kind of washed out grey... |

There was a guy on there who can do it in black. I'll see if I can find him again. |

Hi guys.... I am new to the boards here. I am actively looking to complete this peticular costume. To answer the question of the cumberbun, there is a guy over at bsn who does make them. I can't rave enough about this guy. He is top-knotch and very customer serive oriented. I'm not sure if I can mention his name or not, so I will er on the side of caution. Anyone isnterested just email me (mgunner75@yahoo.com) and I will give you the necessary information. And the material is made of a heavy cooton. It looks great. He even put in the vertical ribs and everything. And, yes, he does make the cumberbuns in black, they are a special order. But he custom makes the orders as they come in. You'd just have to provide him your measurements and he works on the piece. His turn around time isn't too bad, either. I think when I ordered mine he had it custom-made and delivered to me with like 2-3 weeks I think. Anyway, I just wanted to add my two credits worth to this topic. Thanks! ~ Bill -For the Empire - |
