S.C. Binocs?; Sub Assault Conversion

Advanced Member Posts: 125 Group: Members Member #89 Joined: March 31, 2006	I've just scored from ebay a Radica Sub Assault (as used for TK Binoculars on TK409s website) Now I will be painting this to complement my Storm Commando, so, should I paint it TK white or TK black? (And should I weather it, or make it pristine?)

Detachment Leader Posts: 1,607 Group: Supporter Member #1 Joined: June 1, 2005	IMHO, it wouldn't make any sense to me for a stealthy black armored trooper to have shiny white binocs. My vote is thrown towards the black. Weather or not to weather is your choice. If you do choose to weather, just do subtle silver & gray scratches.

Advanced Member Posts: 125 Group: Members Member #89 Joined: March 31, 2006	heh I got lucky. FWIW the pics I've seen of the Radica Tank Assault make it look very similar to the Sub assault (sadly stealth assault looks like the nose of the F117)

Advanced Member Posts: 125 Group: Members Member #89 Joined: March 31, 2006	Finished my Binocs today (still waitin for my armour to arrive lol) The lens came from an army style right angled torch. And as an aside, the rest of the torch wasn't wasted. I made myself a custom Lightsaber Hilt.
