Wanted to show off the new Seatrooper outfit.....we wanted something that screamed "Seatrooper!", but allowed for a change back to BS if needed (save a few part swaps)...

The outfit isn't yet complete, of course....there will be blue chasing lights in the chestplate, a bandolier w/ flippers, and a forearm dive knife. We just wanted to snap a few pics while we had the free time. :)

Please, let me know what ya'll think....

When I saw these cool pictures over on the RPF, I knew I had to invite you over here to share the work. Kinda reminds me of the scene in Apocalypse Now where Martin Sheen comes up out of the water. ;)

It's a great start to a cool costume and can't wait to see it when it's done!

Kudos once again and welcome to the Special Operations Detachment!

Are you going to add a regulator in the bucket so you can go diving in costume??? Great pics, keep floating 'em to us.

This is awesome. You have inspired me to do one myself. However, I am going to attempt to make it functional....

Why have a BCD under the armour just use a back inflateable BCD. Also the Cummerbun would also be used as somewhat fo a BCD as well. Reference WWII OPERATION OVERLORD (aka D-Day) Standard equipment of a flotation belt that was issued to both US and British Troops. A succesfull combining of the two would make BC a much easier as a Sea Trooper rather than the standard Vest type BCD.
