Hi everybody!

this is my first topic here.... thought you guys might appreciate this:

now and then you make stuff just for pure fun and personal taste...

Black stormtroopers? done! black Scout troopers?done.

But i don't think i've ever seen a black snowtrooper!
correct me if i'm wrong...

It's not an EU variation as far as i know, ... and it probably won't grant me a "TX" spec-ops ID...

but who cares ;)
I present you the ASH-TROOPER!!!!!

here's the WIP (missing handplates, weapon, and head support)

here it is in action!

Piero,

Wow! That is simply stunning... I'm at a loss for words with how good that looks!

I'd gladly troop next to you any day in that costume - consider yourself an honorary 501st Spec Ops Det Custom TX!

I am certain if we can get one of the authors or artists to see it that it'd become EU canon quick.

Kudos on a job well done! And I hope to see you in Pasadena - sounds like we'll have a lot of the Static Burst team there!

How about we issue an unofficial TX-ID for customs? Perhaps TX/C or TX-C? At least you can have an ID within the Detachment. :)

Yup - dead serious, Piero. I think you did a fantastic job and as the Spec Ops Det Leader, I'd love to bestow upon you the honorary TX Detachment designation of TX/C-1338 for your custom Ash Trooper in celebration of your hard work and dedication in bringing this very original, custom costume to life.

While this isn't an official 501st TK-ID and can't be used for official 501st membership, it may become one someday if we can get an author or artist to make it canon (which I will promise to try and do for you). I love the original idea and you'd look simply fantastic standing with us. And with that, you are now a member of the Detachment. :)

And can't wait to meet you at Pasadena for the Rose Bowl Parade! It'll be a great time!

I REALLY appreciate it, thank you!!!!

TX-C1338.... sounds cool huh? B)

If you get an artist to see that...GREAT otherwise we'll just have to wait til i become an official LFL artits so i can draw myself :P

I'll see you very soon, and we'll march together!!!!!!

Well I know Mary Franklin and Steve Sansweet love your work, so that's not so unrealistic an idea. ;) You never know if they'd write an article in the insider either. I'd suggest shooting Mary a few pics through the Bantha Tracks email addy and see if it gets in. ;)

And welcome as the first official Det custom designation (the Legion may not accept it, but we do). ;)
