I'm making one of these. Has anybody seen anymore pictures of the Snowscout? I can only find one, the same one that's in the other thread. |

I know there are a few other folks working on this. Hopefully they'll chime in with progress pics. As far as official references, the image that was posted is the only one that currently exists. |

Bummer about that being the only pic. I'd be interested in what others are using for the mid section since that part is hard to see in the concept drawing. I'm using: -Biker Scout cumberbund (no pouches attached. Chest armor is in the way. Pouches used on belt like Snowtrooper) -Snowtrooper belt -Snowtrooper pouches -Snowtrooper ab armor (no armor cod piece for ease of riding speeder. Cloth cumberbund/codpiece instead) -Biker Scout Thermal detonator. -No duster (Not sure what others are doing here, but it's not in the drawing and I figured a scout on a speeder wouldn't wear one) Everything else I'm using: -Snowtrooper chest -Snowtrooper boots -Snowtrooper forearms -Snowtrooper gloves and hand armor -Snowtrooper shoulders (might smooth them out) -Biker Scout knees -Biker Scout helmet -Biker Scout back and pack -Carbine Chad |

Hey Chadd glad u r working on this and infact this is what i know and u might want to consider but again i respect ur decision on this and i will be posting my work next week when i troop in this outfit as my next project. Parts which are not needed for snowscout Biker Scout cumberbund (no pouches attached. Chest armor is in the way. Pouches used on belt like Snowtrooper) - from the ref pic, no cummberbund is used since the snowie belt is more than sufficient. -Biker Scout Thermal detonator. understand from kotobuikya model, the termal detonator is a stormie type and not bikerscout type these are the same as i used -Snowtrooper belt -Snowtrooper pouches -Snowtrooper ab armor (no armor cod piece for ease of riding speeder. Cloth cumberbund/codpiece instead) -duster - u still need it since the duster is a thermal wear in reality -Snowtrooper chest -Snowtrooper boots -Snowtrooper forearms -Snowtrooper gloves and hand armor -Snowtrooper shoulders (might smooth them out) -Biker Scout knees -Biker Scout helmet -Biker Scout back and pack -Carbine |

I'm looking forward to seeing your costume. I might use a duster just because I like the way it looks, but it won't be acurate to the picture. And can you imagine trying to get on a speeder with a duster in the way? But since there aren't three pictures of this and we have no hope of it being accepted by the 501st, I guess it doesn't matter. Which Kotobukiya model are you refering to? Chad |

They're not the same. I'll probably use the Biker Scout TD because he is after all, a Biker Scout. Chad |

That is an awesome diorama and makes me want to do the snow scout even more. I like the speeder bike docking bay. |

It is an awesome diorama, but because it's not direct from LFL or a licensee, it can't be used as an "official" reference. But thanks for posting it - it's definately very cool. |

Hey Chadd and Ben here are my version of snow scout as promised to deliver ( this was part of a charity donation event i been and took the opportunity to suit up and give a shot for it , however i must admit my neck seal didnt do a good job cos inner suit is a painter jumper suit which the collar is too big, this i need to look for alternative or a white hood to do the job.... Everything are as per snowtrooper outfit accept the biker tank and helmet Front view ![]() ![]() Walking across street ![]() side view ![]() side view with bikerscout tank ![]() sit down position ![]() |

Looking good! I like that you added the scout pack rather than keep the Snowtrooper pack. It looks like you had a good time. Chad |

thks chadd, ya infact not sure u discover i m actually wearing 2 sets of chest armour... bikerscout armour actually came welded as one piece with front and back i wore that as the inner layer and add the snowtrooper front chest piece to it ...but it even surprise me that both armour was able to combine to give a good feel and also the bikerscout front armour fills the gaps in the snowtrooper armour making it more sturdy since i m not very big size as u can tell frm the pic |
