Well I have begun the process of putting together my next costume. I have been waiting awhile to get this ball rolling and finally this weekend I will begin with stage 1. So hopefully in the not too distant future I will have the basic Storm Commando completed. Wish me luck.

Well I am just about finished with my basic SC. I have just the black biker version right now. In the future I will be adding all of the extras but for now this will have to do. I will try to put some pictures up as soon as I get some.

Here are a few pics. There is still some minor work to be done but this is pretty much about it.

I, myself, am wanting to do the General Weir version of the costume. Just to be a little bit different. But that is still a little bit off to the future. Perhaps by the first of the year I can get started on it, who knows?

Let me know if you find a source for red lenses. I would LOVE to have some.

Here are some pics from Sunday's armor party. I still have a lot more work to do, though.

I'll post more pics when I get to working on the project more!

An idea for the lenses... If you have a good smoked lens (not green) that you're going to go with, I have a whole bunch remaining from a big sheet of dark red theatrical lighting gel that I got for my Royal Guard. A spray-on contact adhesive and a wide rubber brayer will stick it flatter than Kansas to the smoked lens.

Just remember to have the smoked lens already set in its curvature before you do any gluing. ;)
