I have my E-11 Carbine and TK holster, but I'm trying to find something for the other side. I thought about using the boot holster and converting it to a hip/thigh holster and using the holdout blaster. What is everyone else doing? Don't the Imperials use some type of pistol? |

It sounds cool, but please remember in order for it to be officially 501st approved, you'll have to show documented pictorial proof that the rig exists for the Storm Commandos. Otherwise, it's a custom. |

I recognise those pics. The pistol Holster that comes with a Viper security belt should do the job nicely there. |

Oops. I forgot about the West End pics. I'll have to add it to the official specs as an option.

Nocturne - what do you mean by a Viper security belt? I was probably going to track down a DH-17 pistol and holster to go with the E-11 carbine and holster. I'm all ears if anyone has any other ideas. |

I was going to go with a custom blaster..... but based off of the Clone Commanders dual-rig pistol system. I figure that Commandos have a bit of leeway as far as choice of weapons is concerned - also depending on what is available in their respective armories. But ever since I have taken an interest in the clone commandos and their commanders, I have really taken a liking to their blaster pistols. So I am thinking that is what I am wanting to to. I, myself wouldn't go with the DH-17 just because it is a blaster carbine. And you already have that in the E-11. From what I can gather from the reference above the Storm Commando has (1) blaster carbine (e-11), (1) blaster pistol and have been known to also carry sniper rifles or bazookas (or lack of a better word for that weapon). - Bill |

Custom is a "forbidden" word in the 501st To get in you always need to be 100 % accurate to the standards. You can always use cool stuff in non canon events but to get into the Legion you need to remove all of it and use just the approved options |

What is another option for a pistol then? I don't know my Star Wars stats enough to know what other kind of pistol a storm commando would carry. |

Well, until there is a ruling on the "required" blaster pistol, I will be using something akin of the clone commando pistols. You say to use the scout pistol, ok, but the reference pic doesn't really resemble a scout pistol. So, again, I will be using something else. Besides, I am already 501st with my TI. This TX is just something that I wish to add to the costuming mix! |

The one I went with that fits the size and visible detail is General Lando's sidearm from RotJ.![]() It's a modded H&K P9S, but the exact pieces used are still a mystery. --Jonah |

Which looks an aweful lot like the Clone pistol that I will be using... http://www.cushmanpaintball.com/replicapistolpage.html Then again either the Clone pistol or the VP-70 looks good for a commando pistol... - Bill |

Sorry, I missed your question here. ![]() Can't see the holster too clearly there, but that's the belt. |
