What system are you using to keep your thigh armor up? Im looking at the suspender type, the hockey garter type, or attaching them to the ab plate. Are any more prone then others to having the thighs turn in towards the cod piece? This is pretty much the last thing I need to do till its picture time. Worst case I guess I could always just hold my legs together like a 6yr old with no bathroom pass.

I think a good viable solution to that problem would be to do what a lot of TK's do: wear a garter-style belt underneath the costume and have some support connector straps hang down and attach to the tops of the thigh armor pieces. It will definitely keep them in place. |

Yep! that's exactly what I did, and I have center-release (not side-release) buckles on the connecting strap for quick and easy suiting up. I did have a minor accident on my last troop, however, one of the plastic parts gave way on the buckle because going up stairs caused the tension to increase and mine didnt have enough slack. Easily fixed in a matter of minutes though, as I had a heating element handy by way of a hot glue gun tip. To prevent that from happening again I would like to order same-size metal buckles that I can paint black. |

Sounds good, other thing straps for support only on the front of the thighs where they can be covered up right? Thanks for the speedy reply guys! |

No... you connect then to the underside (or inside of the thigh) of your armor. If done right, nobody sees the straps at all. - Bill |

Actually mine are in front (covered up by my drop-boxes). I would probably be better off if they were rotated to the back of the thighs though

I used to wear a garter-style belt but now it's built into my system with adjustable fastback clips. It's just a matter of placement and know elastic stretches over time, so for $3 clips, it makes the elastic last a bit longer. |

How would you know Tie-Guy! LOL
 I use the snap system connected to my ab piece, and they come down the middle of the thigh.

Sandy, Is it comfortable? Some say it gets to heavy/uncomfortable on the shoulders with them attached to the abs. |

Well the problem is that I don't have anything else to reference, but I don't have any shoulder issues or anything like that. On my Sandy rig my back does hurt after a long troop but that's cause of my backpack. When it isn't breaking.

What does attaching the forearms to the biceps do for you? keep the biceps from riding up your arm? |
