The TX Det will be working this costume until a suit is actually created. Until then, the costume is considered a Charter Costume (under consideration for inclusion into the Legion). So let's get some good pics and see if we can jumpstart this costume.

A good pic is here: http://www.starwars.com/collecting/shop/sh...ws20071219.html

Looks like we're facing an almost 100% custom build. Handplates are similar to TK's but they look slightly different. TK helmet will work, but it's gonna need significant mods. Dual thermal dets on the back of the belt. Ribbed undersuit. Looks like an AT-AT driver chestbox, but it's different. Backpack looks sort of easy.

I think this is gonna be a tough costume to complete, but it can be done if someone has some sculpting skills.

I saw the action figure a while ago and was thinking it would make a pretty cool costume. Are there any other references besides the figure? The 1st link is dead. Searched the site with no luck. I could only find these for the moment:

I was looking at the helmet and it looks to me to have a single lens and the lens appears more rounded at the base then a standard TK. If it were me Id say start from scratch. That would be a night mare to mod the eyes, the whole face hose deal and the back (according to the figure).

Would the standard TK shins work? If you added the knee and ankle details?

The backpack in the Game cap really looks more TD now which I guess would make thing easier. The term"Easier" was being used rather loosely.

I'm here now and thank you for the kind words on my costume! I figured that since we are beginning to see some of the Force Unleashed characters start the approval process, I'd like to help write the CRL for the EVO Trooper.

Before I do anything I know of three things that is missing with my rig:
1. the ball under the chin is missing a groove
2. I am missing a stripe on my left arm
3. I need another little canister greeblie for the bits on my right shin armor.

Also, before I would try and submit this for approval, I need to completely replace the legs. I love the weathering, but the big issue is that these just don't fit me.

In response to the questions posed above, however, I would say the following:
- Completely forget about the way any action figures look - they are so inconsistent with the renders from LFL it's amazing that they were approved to begin with.
- I built that chestbox from scratch since it didn't match a TIE Piolts or an AT-AT- Pilot's.
- The TK Body Armor will work, it just needs modifications. The shin armor basically needs the Knee plates. The ankle details from the figure shouldn't be added.
- A standard helmet can be modified, but requires a LOT of work - I'm toying with the idea of cleaning mine up and casting it - depending on how much work is involved. Honestly, I'm not 100% happy with it, but it definitely serves its purpose.
- A standard TD Backpack should work fine -especially since seeing that in-game shot from above- which is kind of a let down for me since I had a friend of mine build a custom pack based off of an unskinned LA render.

Does anyone make TK armor that's bigger than the FX kits? The legs that I have are just too small for me in general.

Hey Kyle, I figured out a great fix for split calves a while back, also allows the calves to flex and open still.
This is something i've found very nice with my TK armor. Please be sure to note that the Shin plate that has been cut is an extra one, not one of the shin plates that's already assembled

*groan* I just saw the Force Unleashed Role Playing Campaign Guide last night and they have a BEAUTIFUL render of the EVO trooper holding his flechette rifle. It's a full top to bottom shot of the same cropped image from the back of the action figure's card. I'm going to borrow this from the library so that I can scan it as a high resolution image. Also, there's a drawing of the rifle's profile, so I'll scan that too.

And just so I'm adding something useful to the conversation:

Thomas Spanos just posted these for us and I'm very happy that we can start sharing the images!

So I'm actually very interested in completely re-doing whole helmet now, along with the legs. And now the rifle. :D

I just scanned in two images from the Force Unleashed Role Playing Guide which show off quite a bit. Now I have to modify my rifle.

And for this one, I've compared it, size wise to a Lewis, so the measurements are just to show an approximation.

My gun is way too large, here's my friend standing with it (She's not too tall, though) ;):
