Detachment Leader Posts: 1,607 Group: Supporter Member #1 Joined: June 1, 2005	Clear acrylic .118 Emerald Green or Smoke FX replacement flat lenses if you want to upgrade your old FX smoke bubble lenses so you can see much better out of your helm during troops. These are not flimsy lenses - they're about 1/8" thick and the color is moulded in vs. a cheap coating. You can also save 50% by making it a quick DIY project by ordering them uncut; simply cut on the lines marked on the paper backing, heat them up gently (with the paper still on) for 30-35 seconds with a heat gun, gently form them to fit your helmet while pliable, let them cool down. Couldn't be simpler! Installation is super easy; simply remove your old lenses (and all old hotglue residue) then hotglue these flat replacements in. Here's a comparison pic with FX Bubble (Top), Flat Smoke (Middle), Flat Emerald Green (Bottom): They're nice and dark, but you'll see a lot better out of them. Options are: 1) A set of either color (green or smoke), cut and gently curved for FX helms: $20 shipped US; Overseas please add $1 shipping. 2) Uncut sheet of either color (makes 2 lenses), $10 shipped US; Overseas add $1 shipping.
