TX7740 Posts: 137 Group: Members Member #440 Joined: February 29, 2008	108+ degree weather wasn't enough to stop members from Orange County Star Wars Society, R2 Builder's Club, Rebel Legion, and the Fighting 501st from taking up positions on the front line to raise money for Cancer Research. So hot in fact some of us (me) had issues with pieces of our gear failing but we trooped on! Through the combined efforts of our clubs we raised somewhere around 2K (the most recent figure) and put on such a show that we have once again been requested for next year's event! I had more fun here than I've had at any high profile event. TX7740 Posts: 137 Group: Members Member #440 Joined: February 29, 2008	We suited up at evening time, didn't stay in armor long, just around an hour or so. Some did, our Vader had to be in for a couple hours. He has icewater stashed in his robes with a drinking tube. He was the hottest, but we had a hide out where we could ditch our buckets and cool off.
