Very cool. You don't see more than one TX at a time very often. Two plus DV is a frightening sight. More more! How many Stealth Troopers are there in the UK anyway? The black TE is a masterstroke. Totally changes the look. Nice to see others trying to get away from the FX. |

Yeah, 2 x TX + DV was something to travel a long way for ... had to fly from London to Glasgow for that troop! Had a whale of a weekend though ![]() We currently have 2 TX's in the UK Garrison, and that was us in the pic. I do know, however, that there are two more in the process of building right now. Really trying to get away from the FX lid. In fact, the other TX in the pic has just purchased a complete set of stealth TM armour (including lid) to replace his FX. I've also just taken delivery of a TM lid to compliment my TM armour. Depending on how it looks when it's completely finished, I may be parting with the TE2 lid shown in the pics. As to the previous question about decals/tube stripes, I had a chat with the Trooperdecals.com guy over here and he had no trouble at all in making me up a couple of sets. They're not on his site, but he can do them. |

Wow, I did not realise TrooperMaster was making black armour. If its as good as his whites, that'll really be something. I'm in the UK incidently, been working on a TX armour for awhile. Its not done yet or anything, but I thought I would post something when it is complete. |

Yup, TM makes black ABS armour, but it's a bit of a swine to do, so he says. It's also quite a lot more tricky to trim than white ABS, I can testify to that personally! And it's every bit as good as his white stuff. Ahh, another resident of this land. What armour you got? Are you a member of the 501st UK Garrison? If not, why not? We need to get TX numbers up! Oh ... and get building :-) |

I'm sending you a PM about TM's lid. Don't want to go into too much detail on a public forum. |

The sight of two TX's is nice, something I'm glad to say we'll be able to do in the Pikes Peak Squad soon, I'm getting close to finishing mine. Robert |

TX2233: 'Ahh, another resident of this land. What armour you got? Are you a member of the 501st UK Garrison? If not, why not? We need to get TX numbers up! Oh ... and get building' I've been working on my TX, and a TD come to think of it, for a while, I'm not a member of the 501st yet, I guess because I didn't want to approach for membership until I had something to show for myself. The TX is almost done (to be honest, I have no idea which make it is, or any idea how to figure that out), just been working on the helmet interior, voice box and all, and will see if I can get into the Legion after that. But the image of you guys really encouraged me in my paltry efforts. TC Edited by tubecity, Sep 8 2008, 04:37 PM.

You should come and join us on the UK Garrison forums. It's a good thing to get known before approaching the GWL for clearance anyhow. Post up some pics for some informal (and constructive) comment and it'll certainly ease the path to official clearance. Pics of your TX armour may help us to see what type it is, particularly if the helmet came with it. Glad you liked the trooping pics Lots more TX troops coming up in the next couple of months!
