I made this very detailed as you will see, mostly because this is the first time ever posting about this suit. Post your suggestions, questions or any other concerns. Thanks! Propositional Tentative CRL for the “Dark Trooper” (Star Wars: Battle Front version) BF Dark Trooper standards/requirements: Armor -Semi-professional/quality armor representation (i.e. vac-formed ABS/HIPS or Fiberglass) -Dark Grey (Closest match as of right now appears to be the “Painter’s Touch: Dark Grey”) for majority of the armor. - “Light” black (possibly a gun metal mix, undetermined yet) details must be painted onto the thighs, in accordance with reference pictures, as well as the same black must appear on the center cod piece in a square. Also, this black is used to make a complete ring around the sides of the chest and back piece as well as the connection strip/strap between the two. -Chest piece: must NOT be a clone or TK, for it has it’s own custom “breast” detail. -Back piece: can be a modified TK back piece, so long as it is in proper proportion to the chest piece, in relation to the references. The edges however must extend farther then for example, an FX TK back piece does. -Shoulder bells: Must be custom; bulbous in appearance, each bell Is exactly opposite of each other, with the back/bottom portion being longer then the front (when worn as well) -Biceps: Appears to be a distorted TK’s bicep, with the bottom opening narrower then the top. Must have a stripe detail running along, the outermost point, in a “V” fashion; widest at the top. -Forearms: Must have exactly 12 boxes, evenly spaced. Can be modified TK. -Hand guards: ROTJ TK style -Abb plate: Must be a clone, with correct kidney plates as well, and lower black plate -Belt w/ boxes: Must be a clone trooper belt, with ONLY the front two main boxes, As well as TK or Clone style canister/thermal detonator on the back -Cod and butt plate: Both must be clone -Thighs: Must be a clone, however, the triangular detail must be extended, it appears longer then the standard clone thighs. -Shins: Custom, however, appears that it could be a modified TK shins, without the upper stripe detail, but must have the vertical stripe running down the front and back, the same color as the black highlights/details mentioned above. -Shoe/boots: Must be clone design, with black soles. -The “Bolt” details, must be in a cone shape, however with the top pointed piece cut off. The inside of the top must be “apple” red. Total 6; 2 on either sides of the knees, and 2 on the chest piece on the “breast” detail. -Under suit: Black, preferably under armor, or personal preference. -Black neck seal -Gloves: Black, leather, or nomex. Helmet -Must be a custom sculpt, OR a heavily modified storm trooper helmet. Main color is dark grey as stated above for armor. -The Frown must extend higher, closer to the Len’s/eyes with approximately 8 cut out “square holes,” and 7 “teeth,” starting with one tooth in the center, and 3 teeth on either side. Frown must be the same black that is used for the armor highlights as stated above. -The “tear drops” under the eyes must be a lighter shade of grey, with a flat black outline, with 5 flat black “curved” but vertical stripes (just as a TK’s detail would be. -Box details: Must be along the dome in the same fashion as a TK helmet, where the front boxes must be matching light grey as tears, with a flat black outline. The back two boxes must match the front boxes as well, with a black outline, and must have 5 vertical flat black lines on each of the back box details. -Tube stripes: Along the side of the helmet, just as a TK helmet, with 9 curved stripes, however, with the outside of the curve facing forward , opposite of a TK/clone tube stripes. -Ear box: Must have 5 vertical bumps, the 2nd to last bump closest to the back of the ear must be Flat black, as well as a flat black outline around the box. -Eyes: Flatter, narrower version in comparison to a TK’s. Must be a dark red in color, bubble or flat. -Helmet swoop: Must follow in a streamline, and even form connecting the helmet “tubes” together, extending between ˝ or Ľ the length of the helmet without the swoop -Lower front details: The chin detail must be a much larger, custom detail. Must have a series of reflective, 3 even lines on each side, that point opposite of each other, in a V shape. Largest starts at the bottom, with the widest angle, one in the middle with a more acute angle, and then the last set being parallel to each other. -Aerators: Must resemble that of a TK’s helmet aerators, however, must be entirely bright or “apple” red. -Brow: Must be flat black, or can substitute with weather stripping, just as a TK helmet. -Must have a black “seam” line across the back, that start at the back of the ear, run along the bottom of the box details, to the other ear. Gives the look of being a segmented vac-formed helmet. Jump Jet Pack (JJP) -Must be properly proportioned (if possible) -Must contain the colors: Dark grey (same as armor), Black, Light grey. -Main body is dark grey, with black squares on either side of the main box. -Main box must be black, with a black strip extending over the top of the JJP, as well as the top cones of the thruster housing, Nozzle connection, and the lower nozzle as well. The main body of the thruster should be light grey. -Must have a total of 6 vents, three on each “arm” of the JJP; top, front and bottom. Each vent must have a total of 6 fins each. Vents are to be black. -On the outside of each arm, there must be a black circle detail, one large outer ring, with another ring within it. In the center of the inner ring, it must have one single fin running horizontally across the center, with a square detail behind it. -All details in regards to shapes and angles must be constructed in accordance with the available reference material Weapons -E-11 storm trooper blaster, ANH or ROTJ -Scout pistol, ROTJ Extras -The “bolts” and aerators can contain red LEDs for visual effect, possibly even above the eyes as well. -Most add-ons typically used for TK’s (fans, mic, blaster noises for effects, ect. no pauldrons) -Possible smoke effect for the JJP -2 Thermal detonators (optional) -TC Edited by tubachris85x, Oct 1 2008, 11:07 PM.
