Saw this babey on the bay, CAP made = solid constructed helmet with TK-4510 decals. Good replacement for that FX. it was me! my max bid was $200! i'm glad it getting it for under $200 with shipping too! the only thing i know about CAP helmets is that someone said that they are recast! many are not too fond of recasting but since makers hardly make anything in black plastic, i'm gonna make this an exception! i'll let you know when i get it! I'm converting an MRCE helmet to a TX bucket too!

Congrats bro, Yeah the helmets are cast from TE / TE2 but pulled in thicker plastic. They retain all the finer detail because he pulls em HOT but the thicker material makes for a more durable lid. I think this was pulled from his #4 or #5 molds, he constantly works on upgrading and perfecting his molds. That should make a fine bucket for you bro. I wear one of his helmets with my sandy.

yeah i've been talking to Chris who is actually CAP, so he says if i ever need a helmet, made, he can do it! i will ask what he offers and where he ships! i hopefully will be getting it this week! |
