We're seeking an official photo of a Shadow Stormtrooper with a rank pauldron, hopefully in this comic series. If anyone has the series and can locate one, please post a pic in this thread. Kev |

PM replied to. The Det is just looking for any documented (LFL approved) picture of a Blackhole/Shadow Trooper from any comic/game/figure that shows one with a pauldron on. The LMO is on a witchhunt to remove/disapprove Legion profile pics with us wearing a pauldron without proof. I'd like to prove him very, very wrong. Kev |

I just recently submitted my TX, and included the pauldron with my pics. So its probably my fault they are on the witch hunt lol. I borrowed a BFG to use for the pix, but since I dont own one myself, I won't be able to wear the pauldron anyway until I get one. I just wanted to show the options I had available. I think I also left the drop boxes and thermal detonator on, which I know aren't supposed to be worn with the BFG/pauldron set up. So I'm sure its my fault for the uproar. If you haven't taken a look at the pics, they are under this heading on the board. Let me know if it meets requirements please. It was bought from someone who submitted it in the South Carolina garrison and was approved there. All I have done to modify it was put the black tube stripes and forehead brow on that were left off, put the sniper plate on the correct side, and rework the strapping to fit me better. |

No bother, it is not your fault. The LMO has been opposed to the TX/pauldron combination because ha hasn't been able to find a reference. It is up to us to find it and post it. |

Actually the drop boxes and thermal detonator don't get removed according to the comic references. We'll re-examine the specs when I get a chance to review the comic pics. A lot of folks in the Legion aren't happy that Thomas is back as LMO. While I can understand the need for standards of accuracy, there's no need to be a costume bologna and be so anal about a Stormtrooper rank pauldron that is in the StarWars.com databank. This goes against all that Albin stated in his LCO campaign to return the Legion to being fun again. I have voiced my great displeasure with his decisions in the Det Lead forums on the Legion board. I am here to represent the Detachment and it's member's needs, but I will NOT put up with an LMO that thinks he has the ability to remove costumes from our roster that have been ours for years and place them under other Dets at his whim. i allways trooped with my det and drop box's with my t-21 but now i am worried that my bucket has blue tube stripes and not black and with mine as most may rember when i got my tube stickers i was mising 3 on side but i like it that way as it gives it a bit of character and sets mine apart from the other 2 tx's i troop with lol |

Not looking good. What other sources actually exist for the TX? There is the unleashed figure, but that doesn't help for this. Has one ever been featured in a computer or console game? |

The issue is with the pauldrons and not tube stripes or drop boxes. Thomas, the LMO, has issues with the wearing of pauldrons (which I have beat the LFL reference of indicating rank over and over). Wear your costume, do what you want on a troop unless the organizer wants you canon, then just take the darned thing off for that troop. Personally, I boycott Disney weekends because they want only movie troopers - totally ignoring EU altogether. Which is their choice - I'll take my business elsewhere and do. |

Isn't that pretty common for mainstream events? Another example being the Rose Parade. |
