All EVO Trooper costumes must have the following:

(1) Ammo belt
(1) Ab Plate
(1) Butt Plate
(1) Cod piece

(2) Lower Legs

Notes on weathering:
The EVO Trooper is deployed to extremely hazardous environmental conditions and as such, clean white armor is not allowed.
- All armor should start as a white base (GLOSS SHOULD BE DULLED) and weathered.
- Weathering: Black wash is an example of an acceptable weathering technique. Varying shades of olive greens, desert browns and yellows can be used to dirty the armor as well.
- DO NOT USE BRIGHT / HIGHLY SATURATED COLORS.

5. Backpack
- standard Sandtrooper/Desert backpack or similar rig, styled after the ANH sandtrooper packs. They are comprised of two main boxes (aka Seed Trays), that are the approximate width of the backplate, correct bend on frame.

6. Helmet - since there are no commercially available helmets for this trooper, any applicant must have a fan-made or modified helmet. Modifications to a standard Stormtrooper helmet are listed below.
- Below the frown and somewhat replacing the entire comm greeblie area below, all EVO Troopers should have a spherical shaped protrusion
- On either side, under each ear, an air filter should stick out
- A thinner mouth/teeth cutout
- No Ear caps
- Opaque flat or bubbled helmet lens, colored either black, dark smoke or dark green. An observer must not be able to see your eyes through the helmet. The visor should be ONE PIECE for both eyes.
- Aerators should be removed and replaced with holes for hoses to connect to the chest box
- Dark gray helmet frown.
- Dark gray helmet decals.
- Black "tear" Stripes must extend from lower corners to jawline
- Any teeth cut out of helmet frown for ventilation must be backed with black screen material so any observer cannot see your mouth.

7. Boots - White "Chelsea-style" ankle high, lace less boots. Boots may be Leather or Vinyl preferably with small U-shaped elastic sections on either side of the ankle, and up to a 1” heel.

8. Items specific to TX: EVO Trooper:
* (2) black corrugated hoses should connect from the original helmet's aerators to a chest box.
* (1) black corrugated hose should connect from the left side of the chestbox to the left side of the ab plate.
* (4) Military style belt pouches should hang from the belt -- 2 on each side.
* (4) Canisters should be stacked and attached to the outside of the right calve armor
* (1) Canister attached to the right forearm
* (4) Two straps wrap around each forearm
* (2) additional shoulder plates with large (1.5" diameter) holes situated on top of original shoulder bells,
* (2) Additional knee plates should be attached to the top & front of each piece of calf armor.

9. Paint scheme:
Aside from weathering, The EVO Trooper has what could be considered battalion markings.
- Helmet: two stripes run down the front left (starting at the top - just above the crest) of the helmet and continuing down through the ridge above the visor.
- Shoulder: shoulder bell and plate assembly should also have a wide stripe in the same color.
- Left forearm: Same colored stripe on the top side, running underneath the canister.

Before painting the orange stripe, the shoulder armor should be painted in an oily black/silver scheme (underneath the Orange stripe)

Recommend Stripe Colors: Pumpkin Orange Gloss 2411 by Krylon using LIGHT coats and taking the gloss off by giving the paint a light rub down with fine steel wool. (Alternate colors: American Traditions Tropic Orange)

Recommended Colors for Shoulder Base: Krylon Fusion Black Hammered Finish

TX: EVO Trooper should have the following:
(These are recommended, but not required)

It's imperative that it cannot fire a projectile and if you are asked by your CO not to bring it to an event, please comply.
