Hey I'm at the point where I'm going to trim parts of my armor down so they stop cutting into me, and was wondering, if there is anything against attaching some kind of rubber edging around my armor to soften where it contacts the body. Maybe something similar to what is used around the bottom of the bucket.

Thought I'd check noe instead of finding out that it somehow changes the "authenticity" later.

Thanks!

I know there are folks who've trimmed their armor, I use foam inside mine to secure it to my arms and legs better so it doesn't slide and pinch. Trimming is totally do-able, just nibble a little at a time and file the cut ends down nice and smooth. :) It doesn't take much trimming to get away from the major pinching and gouging.

There is no graphic reference for this mod, so, it can't be used for canon events.
My advise is to put it hidden inside the armor, if it can't be seen there is no problem at all.

The best thing to do to remain canon is to simply trim your armor where it pinches the skin. Just take a little off at a time so you don't go overboard, but you want it so you can flex without binding or pinching.

I did a lot of folks armor at the Rose Parade and trust me, you'd do it to on that long march. Now I can bend over, sit down, and fully articulate without pinching anything.
