Member Posts: 18 Group: Members Member #730 Joined: May 27, 2009	I trooped in my TX suit for the 1st time last Sunday in a 4th of July parade. I gotta tell ya, there's something REALLY cool about the black armor. It definetely stands out from the normal white TK armor. However, while walking through the parade I'd here people call me "Darth Vader", "Black Space Robot", "Tie Pilot", or didn't recognize the black at all. It seems that people, even some fellow 501st members, don't get the black stormtrooper idea. I guess I can understand, since this is an EU thing. Just wondering what you all have been called.

I got the same....."look mom, Darth Vader", "cool tie pilot armour".....and then the sharper people..."awesome black stormtrooper!!"

TX7740 Posts: 138 Group: Members Member #440 Joined: February 29, 2008	Yeah, Vader.....At CIV I was standing out front in the morning, some GenCon dude grabbed me and brought me inside, all the troopers exclaimed "That's not Vader!!!", then someone went and found Vader so they could be lined up outside when Boba Rocket Fett dude came flying in..... You can bet ol Scootch sauntered off to the Paramedic's office to hang out in the Air Conditioning until the shin dig kicked off! Then I was a Tie pilot, a Handsome devil, etc.... One twilek even told my wife, "Once you go Black.......you never go Back!" Ha hahahahahhaa! There was this one kid who spun a bearing over my TX, he screamed, "He looks just like my toy!!!" that was cool. Yup that's the day I spent 13 hours in armor because someone had invited me to the group photograph which was to be at eight o clock. I assumed eight o clock A.M. I think it was more like Ten o Clock P.M. Hahahahahahahaa! Edited by scootch, Jul 22 2009, 01:02 AM.

TX2471 Posts: 110 Group: Supporter Member #459 Joined: March 22, 2008	yep most times pple seem me walking the armour and take off real fast so i find a nice corner where i can lean if i need to as i have some health probs and play statue great fun when pple relaise your a person and not some store dummy dressed up in armour lol
