Thanks for all of your concerns with Afterlife UK lately, we hope to regain some activity on the board after our conversion to ZetaBoards, which will also be around the same time I hope to release the brand new website. One of the main areas that the website will be concentrating on is user interactivity. We will place the site in its beta stages and allow users of Afterlife UK to comment on how comfortable they are with using the site. What's important is that we recieve more visitors, (eventually leading to more members), so we would like to know your thoughts concerning the website upon its beta release. Following on from the beta release, comments and constructive criticism will be considered and followed up, then implemented onto the site if staff members feel that this is necessary. Going back to the site itself now, I'll be finishing off Afterlife UK over the next few weeks. The built-in gallery will be installed at a later date since I have not yet managed to complete this, although the site will contain content including: A paranormal definitions page, containing definitions of paranormal related words or abbreviations. Investigation tips and advice. A paranormal activity chart, showing different types of phenomena and the effects they can have. Other subjects include UFOs and Crop Circles, although this should be updated at a later date with more subjects. Links to useful websites that may contain further information regarding the paranormal. The Video Vault, a section including YouTube videos, many of which will be moved across from the forums. At a later date, users will be able to add comments to the video pages. A BBC Paranormal News feed, showing some stories regarding the paranormal. The Big Online Haunting Guide is to be integrated into the website, rather than having an eBook. This will make things less complex and any links, stories and investigation reports can then be integrated onto the website. The eBook for the time being has been cancelled out completley for the time being. Feel free to suggest any more features and these will be considered for integration on the all new website. In conjunction with this, the forum will also be undergoing a revamp to match the colour scheme of the website, although this will occur sometime after the website release. After the ZetaBoards upgrade has been completed and we are fully satisfied with the layout and style of the upraded forums, we will be recruiting new staff members for the forum, who are able to visit on a more regular basis. Some current staff members will be demoted, or have already opted to leave after the conversion takes place, meaning that there will be vacancies.
