Hiya!!
Myself and a friend of mine will be doing a charity event at a haunted location where we will be restrained in straight jackets and chained together and left in a dark room of a haunted location for an hour or two. (This event will be taking place during our investigation) After our event with straight jackets, we will be carrying on our investigation at a haunted location which is Derby Gaol on Saturday 27th October!. My friend will also be taking part in World wedding dress day on Friday 17th August which will be good and we hope to raise to loads lots and lots of money for Cancer Research UK!! Now, why cancer research I hear you ask? Cancer Research is a charity very close to mine and my friends heart. I have a lot of people who have died of cancer and I and my friend have always wanted to be involved in charity work so this is why we choose Cancer Research UK as our charity Our target for Cancer research is £1,000 which you might think it is a lot but every little helps! You can check out our fund-raising page out at http://www.justgiving.com/lilac_bliss So please dig deep and give generously! If you would like anymore information about this, please do contact myself via pm. |

Good luck on your very worthwhile adventure. Hear in the states, I sponsor a rider each year in a "Jimmy Fund" bicycle run for cancer research. The proof of the proper use of cancer research money is in the great advances in treating cancer. When I was a boy, a diagnosis of cancer was a diagnosis of death. The word cancer was seldom used because of the horror; it was instead refured to as the Big C. I hope that your event is very sucessful. Poppy |
