Around my 16th birthday, a good few years ago lol, I was staying at my Nana's house. I remember going to bed quite late that night. My grandad had a nightly ritual of locking all the doors one by one, and also unplugging everything. He started in the kitchen first, then to the dinning room, then the living room, up the stairs to the first bedroom, then to me to hug me and tuck me in, then his room to get ready for bed, but that night all that happened , at the right time, the right sequence, but the spooky thing was, when my bedroom door opened no one was there. Having seen and heard things all my life made me question ,what was going on. I actually did get frightened, and shouted my gran and grandad who came to me, my grandad was still downstairs just getting ready to lock up. He went down and the ritual began, but this time he did come and tuck me in. Strange thing to happen and I never did find an explanation to it.

How strange, so you're saying that the door opened on its own?

Yes it sure did. That though had happened a lot at my nans in different rooms, mainly the one I slept in. Can't really say why I stayed in that room, having seen and heard all that I did, must be a slight touch of madness hey ? Spirit do things in strange ways to communicate, and I have always believed there is a reason for it.

Yes, there is an explanation for everything, never is there an explanation for nothing. So to rationalise here, is it possible that the door had a fault hindge where sometimes they just swing open themselves, or possibly a cold draft? |

No definately not. No bad hinge or anything like that. The doors were also solid wood and very heavy so any breeze would have needed to be a gale. LOL |
