its true its posted in the erica hahn section and its posted in spoilers and its all over live journal hell i started the livejournal one and that madness lasted for five hours im just now getting back a normal and i have a head ache so big i cant see straight not that i ever did to begin with but thats not the point im so utterly pissed off its not funny... heres the thing and youll find it eventually soo... brooke is leaving she got fired in mid september when they finished filming this weeks epi so its her last... shes not happy we're not happy but i say good luck to her and fuck ABC another thing... sara is also leaving after episode 15 or 16 me i think its because of what they did to brooke and this is just her way of saying fuck you mid season ha! go sara honestly they both could do better sara is probably going back to broadway and brooke is probably going to do shows or hell shes done broadway too and you know what ABC can just go fuck their homophobic selves in the ass because when greys tanks and trust me it will... it may flounder and flop around like ER, but when it goes im going to laugh so fucking hard that ill pee my pants and say good fucking ridance... oh and im burning my greys seasons... fuck ABC! stupid cocksuckers also another thing before i finish my rant.. you know the owners are men you know they want to see younger women go at it and skinny women go at it... you kno what not everyone is a size fucking 0 or likes a size fucking 0 in fact give me SARA RAMIREZ OR BROOKE SMITH ANY FUCKING DAY OF THE WEEK! |

I just...I have no words. I read the article and the link it had to Brooke's interview and I just...That's it! After this week, I will no longer watch Grey's Anatomy. I love Sara and the majority of the cast but I just...it's too much and I'm done. You know, this makes NO sense. I just watched today's All My Children and that show has a VERY gay storyline. Bianca (one of the most beloved characters on the show AND a bona-fide lesbian) just got engaged to her girlfriend and we got several kisses in one episode. I was pleasantly surprised. That storyline is controversial. Not only are they getting married, they just had a child together. How is it that ABC can support the Bianca/Reese relationship but they drop Callica?! It makes NO sense... Unless you believe what one of the critics says: that it's all about appearance. Unlike Bianca and Reese (who are very young, thin women) Callie & Erica were both REAL women. In my opinion, that's what made them beautiful and sexy and worth watching but apparently, I'm in the miniority. Apparently the execs at ABC don't want to watch two REAL women make-out. Now, they'll probably put Callie with the much more male-friendly Melissa George. And they'll lose a LOT of viewers by doing it...Unfortunately, I'm probably wrong and they won't lose many viewers...but they've lost one. |

I'm pissed. I am so pissed off right now. I will no longer look forward to Thursday nights. I'm going to get emotional now, lol... As a 23 year old gay woman, not only was it so important for me to see REAL-looking women on PRIMETIME who are gay, but Callica positively impacted my loved ones who aren't very happy about the gay thing. Yes, Callie cheated and now Erica is going to be cut from the show, probably in a less-than-desirable way... But looking beyond that, what TV time they had together really made a difference to people, even in little ways. Even though I've been out for years, I did not come out to my parents until recently. They aren’t very happy about it and avoid the subject at all costs. As avid Grey's fans, they were 'forced' to watch Callica every Thursday...and even though I don't have proof, I know that the Callica storyline has helped them become more accepting of their daughter. I'm just glad the glasses analogy got in there, because I thought that was perfect....it was a way for my parents to understand without them actually having to talk to me about it (at least not yet). So even though our lovely Callica will not end very well, I am so grateful for everything their fictitious relationship has done for me. (Plus, they are HOT and I will forever continue to read fanfic about them...) Okay, I’m off my soapbox. |

Oh my GOD!!! I'm so shocked and disappointed and LIVID!! I CAN'T believe it!!! I've been watching this freaking show since SEASON 1. I've been through ups and downs with it and I've stuck and THIS is how they reward me for my loyalty? Way to go, Shonda! Now, they've lost me. I ain't watching the show again. EVER. And I'm SOOOO happy that Sara will be gone too. I'd love to see them in other projects. I was so excited about this storyline. I was preparing for the worst with this, but not even in my wildest nightmares did I see THIS coming. I wish I could say that it was fun while it lasted except that, I CANNOT! They've messed up the storyline and just when I thought things would go in the right direction, BAM! Great. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( |

This is my first and probably also my last post. I am absolutely appalled at how the ABC and shonda have handled this. It's extremely disrespectful to their staff, and to their audience. Watching brooke smith was always a pleasure. And I'm disgusted to hear of her dismissal. Give her an Emmy. She was the best thing that show had. |

I HOPE (and I know its ridiculous but you can only dream) that they get there own spin-off, because to tell you the truth I think the reason why they dicede to do THIS is because they THOUGHT that they lost viewers because of callica when really they lost them because the show is getting boring; they were getting new vieweres from the LGBT comunity and now they are going to lose them, I know that the only reason why I became I SUPER FAN was because of them and the only reason why I am still watching is because of them and I'm probably going to stop watching onces Sara exits the show, and I'm preaty sure that a lot of people are going to do the same; and to tell the truth I had that in mind (that I was going to keep watching because of Sara) before I read this so my watching Grey's Anatmy days are numberd. |

I'm so disappointed, i loved Erica's character, actually i just started to be interested in Grey's Anatomy when i discovered her. I thought that i was going to continue to watch the show a little to see what they do with Callie's storyline but now that she'll leave too, it's depressing.... Now we only have TLW.... I really don't understand why every show which starts something with "gay" characters ends like this, can't we have for once a good long "gay" relationship on TV???? (well i mean on national TV, not on channel like showtime) |

we're doing the best we can over at livejournal to make ABC hear us we've started a petition at the community hope4hahn so if you haven't signed it please do and better yet keep an eye out we may take this to the media i don't know yet btw if you're curious about Brooke's real reaction here it is... “I was floored when they told me [I was being let go]. It was the last thing I expected. In fact, when they told me I asked, ‘When is this happening?’ And they said, ‘The [next episode] is your last,’ which is the one that airs this Thursday. So it was very sudden.” i'm still so fucking pissed i will never see straight ever again (not that i did to begin with but hey) |

I woke up and just wanted to check erica_callie livejournal before school and I was like WTF... I couldn't belive my eyes, I'm so sad. Erica really is my favourite character. My whole day is ruined, probably whole week and when the next episode airs I'll be devastated. :'( I feel for Brooke and I hope now that Sara leaves Grey's, seriously. |

Ok so who buys the rumour going around that Sara was repulsed by Brooke and told Shonda to get rid of Brooke or she would walk. …. Nope me neither!! Lol People love to spread shit don’t they?! ^o) The fact we’ve had no comment off of any other cast members makes me uneasy I wonder if they have all been gagged. It’s not like Katherine to say quite on things and I’m shocked Sara hasn’t made a statement. I know it’s still early in LA but they will have known about this for weeks you would think they would have a statement ready and waiting. |

The bit about Brooke kids made me smile … Rumours began to swirl when Ramirez was spotted in NYC looking at apartments this past weekend and the sudden termination of Brooke Smith, one half of the Callica couple (Callie/Erica), only adds to the mystique surrounding what is really going on over at ABC. A source who is close to the actress would only say, "Sara really supports the gay and lesbian communities so she's not really happy by what has gone on. She was extremely close to Brooke Smith, so close in fact, that she has spent a lot of time with Brooke's children. (Smith has a five year old daughter and a newly adopted baby girl from Ethiopia)." Sources close to the set claim that T.R. Knight, a homosexual man who has felt the sting of workplace adversity, was so angered by Brooke's firing that he became too ill to complete the filming of the then current episode. Sly watchers will notice that Knight's 'George O'Malley' character was rarely seen in the episode called 'Life During Wartime'. Evidence suggests that it was during the filming of this episode that the cast and crew found out that Brooke was being terminated. While it has not been implicitly confirmed that the decision to terminate Brooke Smith came down from the ABC execs, in an interview with Michael Ausiello, Smith seemed to imply that Shonda Rhimes (series creator, producer, and writer) was not happy with the decision. Shrouded by a thin veil, the goings on behind the scenes at Grey's Anatomy seem to play out in the public eye more often than not. (Most recently was Isaiah Washington's derogatory slur and Heigl's anger at the writing for her character: Izzie Stevens). With no official word from Shonda Rhimes beyond stating that Smith's termination was not due to the fact that she was playing a lesbian, fans are understandably jarred. Perhaps the person who needs to be the most worried, however, is Sara Ramirez. In the same press release, Rhimes said that Ramirez's character - Calliope Torres - is the show's lesbian. We see what happened to the last lesbian, Ms. Rhimes. It's no wonder Sara Ramirez is apartment shopping on the other side of the country.
