I feel like hell...

You'd know, as I'm typing this, I'm not feeling so well ATM. Here's a something I posted somewhere else, that would elaborate more on it:

The dentist...awsome...>_>
I went to the dentist today for a check up, due to my tooth ache durning Global and Math yesterday. For my mother this was very convient considering she had an appointment to go to the dentist anyway today. We got there at 9:30. But we had to wait for the nurse to call us ( even though my mother had an appointment for 9:30 anyway; I was treated as a walk in patient ), which took a while, but not too long ( in my mother's case anyway ). After my mother came from the doc., she gave me money to buy some french fries to eat at the nearby fish store, I didn't want to go as I thought they would soon call me. As soon as I came back, my mother told me they already called me; I love irony. Then they took X-Rays of my teeth, and sent me back to the waiting room to be called on again. While I was waiting, I was playing with my Nintendo DS or using my mom's GPhone ( using the internet ). Then they call me again and while I was in the chair, they found 3 cavities in my teeth ( 2 on the top left in the back, and 1 on the bottom right in the back. ), they treated my top 2 left teeth in the back with some solution ( I forget the name of said solution ) that shall numb my teeth so they can fill in the cavities ( my other tooth will be filled in at a later date ). Then, once again, they sent me back to the waiting room ( it's annoying... ). The solution started to not only numb my tooth, but, as usual, it started to numb my lip ( left side ) and my cheek going up to my left eye; it made the left side my face feel like a balloon. Then moments later, they called me in to fill my teeth. It was about a 10-15 minute process, where I barely felt a thing ( since they numbed my teeth...and my mouth and my cheek ). When we left, and I was shocked, it was 12:00 ( 2 and a half hours...I still can't belive it... ) and I was ready to go home ( I was tired, I didn't get that much sleep last night ).
Also, as I'm typing this, my mouth is still numb. And I have another appointment on the 12th of March to fill in my 3rd tooth.

My LONG day at the hospital...
Okay, this story starts about 2 days ago, in gym, the class had to do sit-ups ( fitness test ), and while I was doing sit-ups, I've gotten a pain in my waist ( left and right side ), and pain just above my stomach, but below my rib cage, after about 30 sit-ups ( I did 56 BTW ), the pain went a way...BUT, it came back the next morning, and I was in pain ALL DAY, I told my mother, and she said I will have to go to the emergency room if I was still in pain. AND TODAY, IT STILL HURT, but...MUCH WORSE, and my mother called 911, and an ambulance came, we waited for it outside; while at the hospital ( to make a VERY LONG story short ), I found out I had a muscle spasm ( no duh, right? ), and acid reflux ( shocking...), which is why I had a pain above my stomach. I also waited for HOURS, to get the slip for my medication, heck, I feel a sleep on my mother's arm at about 1:00 until we had to leave and get my med slip ( which was about 2:00 ).
So that's my ENTIRE day.
BTW, I wen't to the hospital at 8:30am.

My new school
Okay, today, me and my mother just went to an open house at my new high school, and it's big ( not that big, but a decent size ), and it's a bit...dirty, and kind of rusted, but inside it's a bit better ( not that much, just a bit ), but I only saw the cafeteria ( where the freshmen go for orientation ). When we got there, there was a lot of kids and parents there ( note that we were late, as me and my mother was the only people standing ), and there was a lady ( She isn't a teacher, but she works in the main office...I forgot what she does ), and her name, get this, was YOSHI ( lol...you know, from the Super Mario games ), wow. Soon after she was done talking, she told us to get on line to take our ID pictures, when I getting on line, I saw a friend of mine I known form 6th Grade ( I don't know him too well though ), I greeted him, with a "what's sup", and slapped him a 5. Then about a half hour after that, I got on line to get the school T-Shirt ( there was a polo and a hooded sweater as well, but I didn't have enough money ), which had the school logo we had to pay for ( about $5 for 1 ), it was a long line, and it took a long time for me to get my shirt ( waaaaaaaay too long ). When I finally got to the front, I asked the guy selling the shirts, to get me, "2 black shirts, 2XL", but my mom, wanted me to get 1 black and 1 gray ( the only 2 color choices ), but I insisted apon 2 black shirts ( their gray shirts, IMO, don't look good on me ), and I got 2 black shirts. After words, we left for the train, and went home.
BTW, the prices, for the Polos and Hoodies are as follows:
$15 - 1 polo
$25 - 1 HOODIE ( seriously )

My Summer...as it currently stands
Okay, I will keep this blog short...well it will be short anyways, and in the form of a list...a short list:
My summer:
- It sucked.
- No girlfriends. Damn
. ( I was very close to getting one at school...but, no luck, to see why, look at my 2nd post in this topic )
- Because it's sooooo boring outdoors in the park ( same repettive bull crap everyday ), I'm forced to stay on the computer and my Wii all day, to keep me entertained...it's doing a good job btw.
- Too hot, it's a given I know, but somedays it's too hot to handle, seriously.
- Very, very tired everyday, staying up all night, sometimes until 5:00AM, and sleeping in until 3-4:00PM ( like today for example ).
- Watching a ton of cartoons, reality shows and cooking shows on TV with my mom, in her room, on the computer ( the HIGHLIGHT of my summer ).
- Went nowhere and did nothing this year. Nice.
- Did I mention, it sucked?
In general, my summer was OKAY, when compared to other people summers, which are likely more boring than mine...well I still got a few more days of summmer left before school starts...or more specifically, high school ( 4 more years of mayhem, misery, and above all, total boredom ).

Deck Analysis - Dark Paladin deck
Okay, here's a deck sent to me via PM by Mattlustersoldier, in the way he typed it:

Now, one of the fusion cards in the fusion deck is a card from Yu-gi-oh! World Championship 2008, my first guess is that this deck would be in game, but I see cards like Armageddon Knight, Allure of Darkness, Escape from the Dark Dimension and Limit Reverse, none of which are in game, and the latter 3 are found in Phantom Darkness, while Limit Reverse is in Light of Destruction.
Now, fixing this deck will be tough, but I'll do what I can.
So first off, is to cut the deck to forty cards, as this isn't the type of deck that can handle 42 cards, and be consistant enough to get cards needed.
So I'll be cutting:
-2 Poymerization, with the deck thining and draw power this deck has, you would likely only summon 1 Dark Paladin per duel via Future Fusion.
Okay, from there I'll also cut and add:
-1 Dasher; 1 should be good enough.
-2 Fear Monger; Not really good anymore, with most decks trying to avoid battling monsters
-1 Smashing Ground
-2 Prisma; Not needed here.
+3 Trade-In; Added draw power
+3 D-Hero Plasma; Works well with all draw cards within the deck.
Now, I have a feeling I did a mistake here, but I'm not sure. so that's why, you should try to help me out, and post comments on the deck and my fixes, I'd appreciate if you do.

Deck Analysis - The Six Samurai; Part 2

Okay, I'm sorry it took me so long to post this but I had other things to do, and really couldn't think of anything to wite, but I currently figured it all out, and now will be wirting about it to you...

My deck this time
Now we will be talking about my deck and how it works, and how it's MUCH better than Jonathan Moore's bulid that won SJC Houston. So, without further ado, my deck, as it currently stands:

Some of you may already see how much better my deck is than Moore's, but for those of you who don't get how much better it really is, I'll explain.
What makes this deck better?
It's simple really, the fact I don't use cards that don't, in some way, conflict with other cards within the build...or the whole deck it self. For expample, one of the major differences between Moore's bulid and mine, is the fact he uses Spirit of the Six Samurai, and I don't and replaced it with Jain, the Lightsworn Paladin. Spirit, is a card that lets you gain a card...for the cost of summoning it, what I mean is, it equips it self to another samurai ( not Shien or Enishi ), this is already bad, because,
1. You wasted a summon.
2. Since Reasoning is used in nearly all Six Samurai decks, it's a bad pull with Reasoning.
3. Being a Union monster, it's way too slow for this bulid.
But, it tries to make up for that by adding attack points ( mediocre ), protection ( good, but could better ), and a draw from your deck ( awesome, but... ), which only happends if you destroy a monster by battle, not effect ( which is best...in this meta ), which means it would only work best with 3 samurai, 2 if you don't count Zanji ( which you would mostly use it's effect ), and 1 if you don't count Irou ( even though it's effect isn't the greatest, it good aganst face down Ryko or Jujitsu Master ), which only leaves 1, Grandmaster, which, with all that attack, you wouldn't really attack a monster just to get a draw that really wouldn't be that great anyways, you would only really use it for the protection, of which on Grandmaster is almost worthless, as it can return it self to your hand so it should ever get destroyed by an effect ( which would happen more often than you think, especially with all that attack ), so the protection is useless, considering this, why is spirit in nearly all Six Samurai decks?
I put in Jain for the simple reason that it mills my deck, which makes my deck faster, which makes getting cards I need faster, that's it.
And if you also take note of the 2 Yaichi's, 1 less than Moore's Bulid, I put 2 instead of 3 because:
1. Bad pull with Reasoning ( how many times have you wanted Yaichi to come off of reasoning? )
2. A tad slow, meaning, chainables laugh at this card.
Other than that, due to recent testing, I find that 2 Yaichi's are more balanced than 3, but that's just IMO.
There's a lot more reasons why my deck is better than Moore's, but I don't want to make this article longer than it has to be, besides, you can probably figure it out the rest of the reasons
Now, I won't rate my deck ( that would make me look bias...and a jerk ), so I'll leave that up to you, and you can give ideas on how to improve my deck if you like.

Deck Analysis - The Six Samurai
I decided to do my first blog on something ( a deck ) I know best:
Six Samurai
A deck I personally feel is easy to learn, and pretty much a perfect deck for someone to learn how important speed is in a deck, as Six Samurai without speed, in my opinion, is destined to fail. Now a guy that made Six Samurai even more played at tournaments after his Shonen Jump Championship win in Houston ( the first and only Six Samurai win )...Jonathan Moore, a guy that whose win fired up yugioh forums everywhere, and people critizing his deck and saying he won by luck, but I have never seen anyone analyze his deck before ( some came close, yet so far ), so this is what I'm going to do, what he did right, what he did wrong, and the overall score of the deck out of 10, so without further ado, Moore's deck ( if you didn't see it already ):

What he did right:
Okay, here's what he did right ( other than the blantly obvious ) , with explainations:
- 3 Shien
By now, you might know why this is good, but those who don't know , I'll explain it, 3 Shien's not only improve the consistancy of getting Shien, but the chance of being able to lock down your opponent's Spells and Traps, which were important, because most of all the OTKs/FTKs, decks like valley explosion, DDT, DAD, etc. were spell heavy, so Shien can control it by reducing the number of spell and trap card play by your opponent to 1 per turn, which in my book, is very effective in any format you play in.
-2 Six Samurai United

I have seen decks use 3 of these cards, to those people I say...you're using it wrong, even though this card is a +1, I woudn't put more than 2 in my deck ( I have ), as with 3 I can get this card even when I don't need it ( nor able to use it effectively ), and I won't need it all the time, as samurai can win without this, it just improved the speed of the deck, of which is the goal of the deck, to win as fast as you can.
-3 Solemn Judgment
Amazingly, I've seen loads of Six Samurai decks use less than 3 of these ( heck, there's an enire forum, who uses less than 3 ), and when asked why they do this, they say:
It wastes too many life points
Maybe not in those words, but that's the jist of it, but by this they're wrong, as how is paying half your life points ( an undifined number...if any number at all ), is too much, as compared to weaker versions of Solemn like My Body as a Shield ( which some sub Solemn for ), in which you spend 1500 LP? it's not, most of those people are using an awesome card such as Solemn ( which can negate almost anything ) wrong, and on top of that, IMO, life points don't even matter as much as it did last format ( or any format at all ), but enough of that, onto why it's good, if used correctly it can criple your opponent enough for the duel to be put in your favor, and lead to an easy win, you have to be crazy not to put the maximum allowed number of a card that can do something like that.
Okay, that's enough of the things he did right, now time for the things he did wrong...
what he did wrong:
- No Cunning of the Six Samurai
Now something like this amazes me, as this is a great card, that opened up so many options for Six Samurai, it isn't even funny, because of Moore not including this card, it led people to think it's side deck material ( of which, he put 2 in the side ), without logical reasoning as to why, and making up obvioulsy false reasoning for it being side deck material. This card is good as you can get an extra attck with this card, having another chance to activate an effect of a Six Samurai monster, etc. it's soooo many things you can do it would take forever to list them all.
-1 Swords of Revealing Light
For a fast deck like Six Samurai, a card like this ( a slow card ) doesn't really fit the theme of the deck, and other than that, it's really easy to destroy with all the Spell/Trap destruction in the meta, and really not needed at all in a Six Samurai deck.
-2 Phoenix Wind Wing Blast
This is a card I really don't like in samurai, it's a -1 ( in samurai, that's not really good, at all ) and not needed at all, really doesn't help at all ( espcially the way Moore used it, spining a Snipe Hunter, not smart in my book ), espcially in this meta, where it's too fast for spin to be effective.
Now I just pointed out the main things about Moore's deck, not all of them, so the rest of the deck is for your self to jugde apon. Now I'll give my overall rating of the deck.

I personally think the cons out weigh the pros in this deck, as it seems it just has too much tech in it ( somewhat bad tech, IMO ), that it makes the deck seem unbalanced, as if you're going to put in tech in a deck ( most noteably, Six Samurai ), it has to have some balance in it.
Next time ( likely next week ), I'll be discussing more about Six Samurai, this time looking at...well you'll find out.
