I was thinking of altering the current rules of the forum to make it more enjoyable and fun, and not a bunch of crazy guidelines.

If I should, what rule(s) should I cut, add and/or repair?

You could add no slander, no name calling, and no lies about other members unless that falls under something already in the rules.
