A little late for posting, but...I'm not surprised they're now endangered. It's about time they were listed that way. Smuggling is such a HUUUUGE issue to this day. ONLY the US and Australia do not allow wild caught birds in their countries, but somehow we still get them. Australia is even getting random species from the US like Blue Jays turning up in their borders. There's like 12 border patrol agents for MILLIONS of people that go through the US/Mexico border yearly, and they don't have animal sniffing dogs. There are thousands of illegally trapped birds that come over our border daily...and without help there is NO WAY we can stop it...Flocking People!
