I'd rather die while i'm living than live while i'm dead!

Well, I just got home from visiting the breeder i'm getting my GCC from. I fell in love with a turquoise yellow sided, but alas, she's not for sale. There are 3 cinnamon babies... she said in about 3 weeks they will be ready to go home. They are down to being hand fed 3 times a day and eating pellets... as you'll see in a pic. I was expecting to have one kind of stand out over the others, but they really all acted about the same. Clung to her like crazy, didn't want anything to do with me. I mean they'd stand on me, let me scratch their necks, but not much else. Would every now and then fly away if they didn't like where my hand was (they have a managed flight clip, which is what i'm going to keep.) None were mouthy - at all! They seemed very calm, and I was very impressed with the conditions. All the cages were very clean, different species of birds were in different rooms, and just the way the lady talked, she really seems to care for these birds. TONS of playstands all over. If anybody is looking for a bird - I would highly recommend to check her out. Also, her prices can't be beat. $150 for a cinn or YS, $100 for a normal GCC. I don't know the other prices. http://www.mamabirdsnest.com So here, as promised, are the pics. All 3 of the cins ![]() underbelly shot ![]() me with one of them ![]() in the cage ![]() Eating ![]() Napping while eating ![]() Now here's some pics of the turquoise yellow sided. The blue is an iridescent blue... so freakin beautiful, the camera couldn't capture it. ![]() ![]() ![]() And, this is why I HATE Alabama. And for those of you who know, this is a small set of signs.
