I like your speelgoed zelf te maken section. The Touwladder is very kool as well as the Wilgen sliert. :)

I am the type if I can use power tools, it is a go! ;)

I make all of my own parrot toys (for an A.Grey, Pionus, Moustache Parakeet ...and soon to be blue crown conure!). I also sell my toys at bird marts and to people in our bird club....they need to be safe.

I WOULD NOT USE PIPE CLEANERS TO MAKE BIRD TOYS! The beads "hide" the pipe cleaner for about 2 seconds....until the bird begins to check out the toy. Pieces of the wire could easily be swallowed and in turn cause internal problems...possibly death! I personally wouldn't take that chance! A better choice would be leather strips or stainless steel wire - the leather is much less expensive and easier to come by locally.
