My bite is small, BUT IT HURTS.

I want to know if anyone knows how to make a toy for chewing? My bird,Cooca, loves to chew wood.If anyone knows any wooden toys that are safe to chew on,please tell me.

Popsicle sticks are a hit at my house! You can pick up huge packs inexpensively at craft or dollar stores. I sometimes give them "as is" to the birds, but they seem to like them more when a hole is drill into them and then strung on a toy.

do you mean ice lolly sticks ? if so i agree kermit loves to chew them and so do the parrotlets

If I could find little wooden blocks,then I could hang those two up on a string for Cooca.It might satisfy her chew need.

yes there the one bird_lover. I found some small chewing blocks what i made toys out of , "in pets at home" which were in the hamster and gerbil section they made excellent toys i tyed them together and the birds loved them |

There's lots of sites online that sell parts for making your own bird toys. There may be a store near you that has parts. Popcycle (or Ice Lolly) sticks work great too. Kahn will even chew up a toothpick. |

Ollie the meyers parrot loves to chew wooden chop sticks ,he picks them up in his foot and swings them around in every direction.
