How much of each?

Hello,

I know a conure's diet consists of vegetables, fruits, seeds, and pellets, but how much should be offered to a smaller bird like a green cheek? I know vegies should be the highest conumed, next to fruit and pellets, but exactly how much is best for them? What appears to be some of their favorites?

Thank you!
Brittney

I have seeds & pellets in their cages all the time. Fruits & veggies are given in the morning on a kabob clip. I don't really measure %'s, but more a well balanced amount all day, if that makes sence.

each of my birds are different... Kermits favorite is apple, boo's is carrot, coco orange, sheila is broccoli... but they all eat everything offered, just thats what they tend to go for first.

Thanks! :) I only have one more question, can fruits and vegetables be served at the same time? Are they like kids in eating the "sweeter" foods and leaving the veggies?
