I recently asked if conures(birds) could have honey. the answer was what i expected, not in excess, so here is the recipe that I wanted to make for Olley and now everyone can make some for their babies too. :hi:

INGREDIENTS:
Almonds
Walnuts
Pecans
Pistatios
Sunflower seed kernels
Honey (real honey, not processed)

:D
DIRECTIONS:
ok so start by pre-heating the oven to 350*F
then crush all of your nuts until they are all about the same size (it should look like a granola bar) then put the crushed nuts in a bowl andblend with honey until
they are all one consistency or mixed to your approval.
when they are all mixed take them out in small amounts and roll them into little balls and place them on wax paper on a cookie sheet. ( roll them into different
sizes for diferent birds)
when you have them all rolled up and on the cookie sheet, place the cookie sheet in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.
after that, let them cool in the refridgerator for a couple of hours so they harden a bit then take them out and use as treats for your birds, dogs, or even yourself.

Hope everyone enjoys this recipe, i love them, and i think the birds will too. :parrot:  :lovekiss:   :crown:  ;)
