I'm new to the forum, and am proudly owned by a peach front conure. I love him! Mine is very playful/mischievous! He has a huge personality and is very social! Mine does talk, he imitated my kiss within a half an hour of having him. Then followed by "hello", and "Love you", he also can call my husband and older dog by name, and mimiks the cat call whistle! I am absolutely in love with Galen, he's my best friend. What bird did you choose?

I had a PF in the mid 1990's for a couple years (along with a Maroon Bellied Conure). plus the 2 in my signature (Summer (Sun) & Kahn (Brown Throat)).. Now I have just Summer and Kahn though. They are my little buddies now. 2 seems to be the right number for me.

I wish you luck with what bird you choose is right for you I have a GC and he is a brilliant talker, he never shuts up from morning to night , but i agree it just down to a induvidual bird, i know some people who have conures who don't talk at all Edited by kermits, Oct 24 2009, 12:06 PM.
