In order for you to become a citizen of the area you will first have to create an identity, a character if you will in order to carry yourself into the world of Danse Macabre. Transportation in Paris varies from where you want to go from to where you want to go to. Now there are many ways for the average tourist to travel, there is the bus, the underground or the boat. You could always walk of course.

This is the geographical centre of Paris and a haven for tourists. The Louvre, Les Halles and the Palais Royal are all here.

Along with the 4ème arrondissement, this neighbourhood makes up the Marais, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Paris. Many 17th century mansions that once housed the noblest families in Paris are still to be seen in this quiet and ungentrified neighbourhood.

The centre of the Marais, this is a lively neighbourhood with a strong alternative lifestyle scene as well as lots of trendy bars, shops, and restaurants. The rue des Rosiers is a centrepiece of Jewish lifestyle in Paris and the Ile St. Louis and the Ile de la Cité are the oldest parts of Paris.

The fabled Latin Quarter. This neighbourhood takes its name from the Sorbonne, where Latin was the common tongue for all students during the Middle Ages. The neighbourhood has the feel of a small village and students mix freely with professionals in its winding streets. The rue Mouffetard is a primary artery where shops, international restaurants and student bars and cafés are found.

6ème Arrondissement St. Germain. Once the hangout for bohemians and intellectuals, this neighbourhood has undergone gentrification and is now newly chic. Upscale boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants can be found throughout this district.

The Eiffel Tower, the Musée d'Orsay and lots of international residents can be found in this very wealthy neighbourhood.

8ème Arrondissement This upscale neighbourhood is in fact quite diverse. The area around Champs Elysèe has lots of shopping and lots of tourists, while in the area to the East, between the Champs Elysèe and Place de la Madeleine you will find a mixture of 19th century buildings intermingled with businesses. This area is in someway similar to parts of the 16th, but is generally less pretentious

A diverse residential area popular among an artistic crowd. This Southern portion is similar to the 2nd arrondissement, with a mix of residential and business buildings. The Paris Opera is located here. Farther North is Pigalle, the fading Red Light district as well as the famous Moulin Rouge.

The two great train stations in Paris are here, the Gare de l'Est and the Gare du Nord. This multi-cultural neighbourhood also contains a bohemian element.

Place de la Bastille and the New Opera are found here. This is a primarily residential district.

Residential neighbourhood, as well as Paris' Chinatown.

Montparnasse and the Cité Universitaire are found in this residential district traditionally known for its lively cafés and restaurants around the Blvd. Montparnasse.

This large primarily residential neighbourhood ranges from very upscale in the area bordering the 7th arrondissement and the Seine, to relatively safe and affordable in the more outlying areas.

Bois de Boulogne, Trocadero. Although it is not as exclusive as the 7th arrondissement, the 16th is widely regarded as the neighbourhood for the wealthy.

This diverse district really contains more than one neighbourhood, with the portion, in the west, near the Arc de Triomph and Parc Monceau, being very upscale.

Montmartre. This artsy residential neighbourhood has a small village feel and lots of tourists.

Through winding streets amongst the cluttered streets of Paris, The Alleys are always great refuge to a kindred in need or even for a quick meal. Many creatures hide in these shadows.

The Sewers are often horrible and disgusting, although very interesting in Paris. If you move deep enough under the ground you could possibly find Nosferatu or even a place to call home.

The Rooftops are often used as a means of transportation or as meeting points in the evenings. These are perfect locations for any sort of dealing or dispute.

The Nosferatu's primary server, here all the Nosferatu post online their information or dealings. It is a secure server and impossible to hack, only Nosferatu's use this server. Any information on ShreckNet is only accessible by Nosferatu's it is not common RP knowledge

Accessible by all Camarilla in the city, linked by a series of highly intelligent servers this network serves as a general place for information, advertisements, friends and of course official business from The Prince himself. Only Camarilla can access this network, PM Roman Malloy for the password. You can only use the information herein if you have access to the forum.

When a Malkavian reaches heights of emotion they will flash images or messages to other Malkavians, this is such a place. Posting can only be made by Malkavians here.

This is a small "current affairs" magazine publishing articles about recent events, interviews with local prominent figures or minor celebrities, local news and opinion or gossip columns. Copies may be purchased at most corner shops and are available in both English and French. It is distributed amongst most of Paris, so the articles are all Masquerade Friendly. Though, they often follow supernatural events, unsolved murders, or questionable breaches and provide masquerade-friendly explanations for these occurrences.

This is not a spot for flaming…this is a spot for discussion. If something in the world has really bugged you then have a rant, if something is troubling you in RP then put it in here. We do not want to see this being used for personal attacks or vicious remarks….if it is then this area will be removed.

Please post here if you are going to be away from the board....be it a few days or a few weeks. Holidays, unexpected circumstances. If you don't and you do go inactive your character will be retired after 3 weeks. If your character is ancillae or elder then you will be unable to play them until they are re-approved as per the rules.
