masquerading as the boss ;)

Hullo everybody

Just wanted to let all players know that Zeta Boards still haven't fixed the e-mail alerts for any changes to the board. This means that if you send a PM the person will not get a notification about it, if you start a new account an email will not be sent to the moderators. Because of this there I have decided on a temporary fix for everyone concerned.

If you are sending a PM to an account where you know the member has different characters they log in then please put a note in c-box to say you have sent a PM and to which account. If they don't have another account then please note if you click on their name and go to the member page then if they have put a current email address in there then you will be able to send them an email through this board. This is one of the main reasons why having a current email and keeping it updated is so vital.

For all new members...and this is very, very important....... the moderators do not know if you have made a new account, we often only glance at the Admin site once a week and because of this you could be delayed in getting authorised. To avoid this please put a note in c-box.

C-box sends me an email every 24 hours with a note of every message that has been posted in that period. Because of this the largest delay you will suffer will be 24 hours because if I see a request to respond to a PM or to authorise an account then I will deal with it immediately. The other fact is simply that moderators log into the board sporadically over the day and so your message may/probably would be viewed before then.

I just want to stress that you aren't being ignored....we simply don't know a new account has been created.
