You are usually so upbeat and praising of others… but it appears that you don’t always apply the same appreciation to yourself… I hate it when people take on a victim mindset. If there is one thing I know for sure in relation to religion, you can't wait for God to do things for you. You must be proactive and act for yourself. There may be a Master Plan for each person but I'm gonna do everything I can to steer it where I want it to go. How much have you done to make this prophesized relationship become reality? Emily's joyful demeanor and her love of life plays a large part in what makes her so attractive to me... There is much beauty in this "ugly world" we just need to learn to see it and create it for ourselves and by ourselves. I personally try to learn from everything, even or especially when I “fail.” Humans are far from perfect but I can still control myself and view things from a positive angle. There is chance in love, but that doesn't mean you should sit idle and not even try. It baffles me that our society spends so much time learning how to be successful in a career but when it comes to the opposite sex and dating it is rare that a person studies it at all. Marriage SHOULD last a lifetime and therefore is an even larger commitment than a career yet the learning ratio is tipped heavily the opposite way. For clarification, learning about relationships, in my mind, entails learning how to be the best person you can be and getting a good idea of the variation in psychology. You need to fulfill your end of the bargain and DESERVE the dream girl. I suggest starting here if what I’m saying rings true for you. … So you were supposed to marry by a certain age right? But is today the date you turn that age or is it the date where you are 1 above the said number? If you are just turning the correct age then I'd say you've got a year, go for it! If not, what difference does it truly make? I still say go for it!
